The hotel is clean and tidy and in a very good location with easy access and ample free parking. Dinner was very good and portion sizes generous. The view from the dining room was very good too. There is a large outdoor dining area with views on to Lough Derg. My room was a good size and well equipped with toiletries and a coffee maker rather than a kettle. Breakfast was very good, the cake stand with fruit, breads, yogurts etc. was an added bonus ahead of a cooked breakfast

Lovely spacious apartment with everything you could need for a family holiday! Lots to see and do in the area. Right beside Portumna Forest Park and Lough Derg. We had to ring about WiFi password and it was sorted straight away. TV has Netflix. The apartment was huge and spotlessly clean with 3 big balconies which were a huge hit with the kids! Easy check in/out.

Everything was first class. A fantastic apartment with all the extras you could ever need. Roisin and Charlie were the most wonderful hosts and the chickens and ducks were an added bonus. Stunning location overlooking Lough Derg and very short drive to pubs, restaurants etc. Sorry we only had one night but we shall most definitely return.

Excellent apartment, spacious and comfortable, everything we needed. Owners were most helpful. Beautiful forest walk beside Lough Derg. Lovely restaurant a few minutes walk away.

I loved the location on the banks of Lough Derg and beside the twin towns of Ballina and Killaloe. It was a very scenic spot.

Nice big room with a very comfortable bed. Grateful that there was a bar open until 1 am, when we finally reached the hotel. Very good breakfast and so nice personnel.

This place was amazing! Staff was so helpful and our room was great! The location was amazing! Limerick and this hotel is for sure a hidden gem in Ireland.

Our room was ready early and we were upgraded to the executive floor. The room was the best appointed that we stayed in Ireland. Location was close to bus and about 1 km from train station.

Lovely surrounds, lovely, large room; reception and dining staff (Orlagh ?sp) exceptional. Earlier in Dublin, I had hurt my wrist quite badly reception immediately provided an ice pack and bandage. A food allergy immediately met with concern in the dining room and every effort made to accommodate. 10/10!

Easy to drive to and find in our rental car. The history and architecture added to the background feel of Ireland. Helpful notes about the residents and how the Castle came to be. Gorgeous landscaping and decor. Complimentary upgrade to a suite, with a dessert platter on welcome for our wedding anniversary.

The room was very comfortable and had a kettle and an iron. The breakfast was wonderful with a cold selection and hot cooked breakfast to order. The staff throughout the hotel were amazing and extremely helpful.

The team members at the Castletroy Park Suites Hotel provided excellent service during our stay. The breakfast was more than ample and had great choices. Our suite was very, very spacious and had everything we needed. Great hiking/running trail along the river within walking distance of the hotel.
