The location and accommodation exceeded expectations. The domes are so cool, incredibly luxury and a lot bigger than you expect. Space for a sofa, table and chairs, kitchen and full luxury en-suite and 2 beds(!). The fire was amazing, plenty of wood to see us through and loads of electric heaters too which helped as it was -5 outside! Also I left my AirPods behind and the host has kindly agreed to send them back to me. It’s a great place to explore the Golden Circle. Highly recommend if you want a truly unique Icelandic experience.

Gullfoss Hotel is perfectly placed in a rural setting on the Golden Circle (not really a circle) between the Gullfoss Falls and Geysir. The hotel has about 30 rooms, ours facing an escarpment and farmland, half of which are in a newer wing. The room was spacious and modern. The hotel has a good restaurant where breakfast is served but no other facilities. Breakfast was included and was good. Parking was just outside reception. A rough walking trail, 3km, to Gullfoss ran along the river gorge, doubling as a bridle trail.

Our stay at Heima Homes was great! The location on the Golden Circle was perfect for exploring. We loved the cozy and comfortable setting with heated floors and complete with entertainment like board games for the evenings. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making check-in very easy with a code. Also despite a one-day arrival delay due to our flight, they were understanding and even refunded us for the night not used. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient Icelandic adventure!

This hotel is ideally located on the Golden Circle for anyone who wishes to visit some of these beautiful sites at a leisurely pace. It is only a few minutes on foot from the Geysers - in fact their steam can be seen from the hotel entrance. The hotel is also 9 mins by car to Gullfoss Falls. The rooms are very clean. Staff are courteous. The breakfast is superb. Hotel has large parking area. Hotel has golf facilities too. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is very well located, next to all points of interest on your trip To Iceland - before or after exploring Golden circle and the perfect stop to continue your road trip from/to the South. The cabin we booked was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom as well, and equipped with a private kitchen as well. We recommend it 100% and will definitely book there again if we come back to Iceland

Chic, classy hotel in the middle of the golden circle. Hotel is right opposite a supermarket, restaurant and petrol kiosk. located right beside the tomato farm (literally beside), 10 mins drive to faxafoss, 15 mins drive to geysir. Hotel is very new, huge room space, has fridge and entry into hotel is via PIN code. Breakfast provided was also good (pancakes, yoghurt, cookies).

Location is within minutes of the Secret lagoon in the same village along the Golden Circle. Also within 30-60 mins from Gullfoss waterfall, Geyser and Thingvillir National Park with Silfra 2 tectonic continental plate snorkling center. The guesthouse is part of the Hill Hotel, their Restaurant has nice local food and is just across the road.

The location was ideal for the golden circle. Apartment 3 was very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen, although bigger cups or a tea pot would be useful. It was lovely and warm with the underfloor heating, the bath was great and the bathroom clean with a decent sized shower and great products. Parking was very easy.

NB we booked Litl Geysir but were upgraded to the Hotel Geysir so the review is for there! Smart rooms, comfy beds, Great showers! Location was the best as right next to Strokkur, half way round Golden Circle. Litl Geysir right next door looked OK, clearly hadn't yet been opened for season.

Convenient location at end of 'Golden Circle Tour' and for beginning journey along southern Iceland Coast. Plenty of parking space on arrival. Room clean and comfortable. Great choices at breakfast with lovely view from breakfast room. Cute town with some good choices for food nearby.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. We have two separated rooms - it was nice with kids. We can pay for breakfast - it was optional. parking in front of the hotel. Near the hotel was supermarket and hot baths - Laugarvatn fontana. Really good localisation to see golden circle. Recommended

Very well situated to visit the golden circle and all that needs to be seen in South West Iceland. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Lovely rooms, great cleanliness, and very nice breakfast with a beautiful view. A definite accommodation to recommend to stay!

Convenient to the ‘Golden Circle’ and Selfoss. Provided an excellent printed guide to the sights throughout south Iceland. Even had a hot tub and sauna which we didn’t use. Great open view from our room. Clearly some love and thought has gone into this place.

Good location in the middle of golden circle of Iceland. Close to the downtown. Supermarket, restaurants, gas stations are all near-by. Friendly owner. Facility was functionng perfectly. Equipped with washing machine and a big dryer.

Lovely cabin on the golden circle. The cabin is well equipped and the hot tub was lovely after a day's sightseeing. It's really warm and cosy. I'd recommend the restaurant in Hotel Fludir too.

Nice apartment, close to golden circle (20 minutes drive to geysir). Medium size store is on the other site of the road, so shopping was not a problem. Perfect location. Apartment clean and fresh looking.

Very clean and modern hotel, relatively close to the Golden Circle, decent breakfast. Compared to the other hotels down the trip, Hotel South Coast is relatively good valued for what one gets.

Hotel was fabulous, very clean, good sized room. Just walk through the bathroom and out to garden with two hot tubs, bliss! Staff very friendly. Good location, along the golden circle.

Very cheap for Iceland Perfect location for the Golden Circle Kitchen at your disposal, super handy as restaurants are expensive. Good quality for money value Quiet environment

A perfect base for exploring the Golden Circle. The Apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and is well furnished. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch.
