Mr Por speaks excellent English and it made the evenings talking with him really enjoyable and helped us learn a lot about life in the area. He also came trekking with us as well as two guides from a village near the jungle. The trek was challenging at times but the destination was beautiful and the food and drinks by the river in the evening were magical.

The family is very welcoming and friendly. I felt at home the first day. Good hospitality. Very helpful to help you organize everything (tuk tuk , trekking etc). The guests was very friendly too. Located just 8.9 km from Yeak Laom Lake, Ratanakiri Homestay & Jungle Trek provides accommodation in Banlung with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk. This place was the highlight of my holiday! What an incredible family the hosts are. They make you feel at home frome the first minute to the last. The food served here is amazing. Family mealtimes are really good and help you get to know all the other guests. The host also teaches the local kids English lessons and welcomes any help. I also booked my jungle trek here and it was such a fantastic trek with very good guides who know everything about the jungle and they can cook delicious food on a basic wood fire! I feel I have made friends for life here and I will definitely return!

FamilyHouse & Trekking Home Stay offers accommodation in Banlung. The guest house has a sun terrace and views of the mountain, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Great place to stay! He helped arrange my bus to and from Banlung, I arranged my 3d2n tour with him, had great dinners & breakfasts there, met lovely people. The trek was my favorite experience in Cambodia :)

Ratanakiri Lakeside Homestay & Tours is an accommodation located in Banlung, 12 km from Katieng Waterfall and 25 km from 7 Steps Waterfall. Very clean, basic room but comfortable bed and fan. The host, Nop, is absolutely fantastic. He helped with everything, from sorting a jungle trek, to accompanying me to the best breakfast restaurant in Banlung, taking me to the stunning waterfalls and lake outside the town and even helping fix a puncture and sorting a car mechanic. 10/10 for hosting.

This hostel is a nice mix between camping yet with access to restrooms, a restaurant, bar and assistance with jungle trekking or transportation services. A very relaxed and friendly environment ran by a lovely family who takes care of their community as well as their guests. Definitely recommend.
