Would also recommend Toon Poh restaurant nearby, cheap yet really delicious food and service with a smile.

The property was really pretty and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location was also great. The staff were friendly and helpful, they also let us amend our booking after a canceled bus which was really appreciated. There was also free tea, coffee and bananas which was a lovely touch

Situated along the peaceful Ou River, Mandala Ou Resort welcomes guests with a beautiful outdoor infinity pool and free Wi-Fi access at all areas. Spacious guestrooms are fitted with a private... Staff was great ! Very friendly, helpful, they could also organize a tailored day trip for us. They have nice food, cocktails and a beautiful view on the river from the pool and the terrace. Situated in Nongkhiaw, Meexok river view features accommodation with free private parking. The property has river views. Guests can make use of a terrace. Best view of the Nam Khan! One of the newest places I stayed in my two weeks in Laos. Located close to the bus station. Brand new clean unit, ton of natural light & open air. Hot water/water pressure was fair. No option for breakfast, but was not an issue. There is bananas, tea & coffee at your disposal. They can arrange day trips/onward travel. One of two accommodations (in 2 wks in Laos) that communicated prior to arrival. Meexok Riverview is a quiet relaxing place to come back to in Nong Khiaw. Highly recommend. If you can snag a night, book it!

The accommodations are stunning, just like in the photos. Walking up to the property was like being in a fairytale. Calm and quiet, at the edge of town - a quick walk or bicycle ride to get to the center. The staff are wonderful and help with anything you need. Ou River House is wonderful for relaxing and swimming after a good hike, and the restaurant on-site serves great food. They also have free bikes and a kayak to use while staying on site.

Nong Kiau Riverside is located by Nam Ou River. It offers bungalows with river and mountain views. The property is equipped with a tour desk, laundry and shuttle service. Wonderful riverside location, as good as any in Nong Khiaw. Huge and very comfortable cottage. Great breakfast overlooking the river. We booked one of their 'small boats' for a private day trip up river which was great fun, seemed good value and got us away from some of the rather sharp tour operators in town.
