Very spacious and well furnished villa located just next to Yala National Park! We loved it - especially the delicious food and awesome host Pasindu. Though the weather was unlucky (rainy) we had a blast thanks to Pasindu organising an alternative Safari incl birdwatching and local temple tour. He was super helpful in all matters concerning our travels (e.g., transportation to our next destination, laundry, etc.). He is also a talented flute player! Kind enough to introduce us to Sri Lankan music. Thanks a lot and hope to meet soon again!

We loved the location of this hotel. It was beautiful. Our main purpose was to go for Safari, and this hotel is perfectly located from Yala National Park. They even packed us breakfast at 5am, so we can take it with us to Safari. We spent an afternoon at the pool, (and had it all to ourselves which was also a bonus). The food was great, and we had the buffet there. The staff were all amazing. Everyone that worked there, were quite young, but incredibly professional, polite and kind, and they all really went out of their way to help us.

Wow! Exceptional property with exceptional staff. It was a delight to stay at this wonderful property located in the Sri Lankan jungle, very close to Yala National Park. We had breakfast and dinner included, and the food was amazing. Thanks a lot for the entire staff for the excellent service. We will miss you all, but we hope we will meet again. Thanks also for the safari guide. We were very lucky to see a leopard at about 5 to 10 metres from us. We recommend this property for everyone who enjoys untamed Sri Lanka! 1000 thanks!!!

Leopard Trails is one of the more unique hotel options in Sri Lanka and especially around Yala National Park. Our dedicated Guide/assistant for all things at the hotel and in the Park was especially lovely, efficient and useful to have. The food was excellent and plentiful and the chef was especially kind in providing special requests. Every meal was presented nicely and it never felt like we were in a tented camp but rather a semi-outdoor restaurant with gorgeous lighting in the evening and elegant meals throughout our stay

Accomodation close to Yala National Park. Perfect location for doing a safari. Short tuk tuk ride from shops. Beautiful nature surrounding the property, well maintained gardens. Extremely peaceful, we had our best nights sleep here after spending 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Host Kapila kind and interesting guy. We enjoyed our first ever safari with Kapila very much, such a relaxing, cool experience. We saw all kinds of animals that we have never seen before. The food was some of our favourite we have had since being in Sri Lanka.

Amazon Cabanas is a hidden gem. Our lodge was really lovely. It had a lovely big bathroom, very comfortable bed and a lovely veranda where we sat enjoying the incredible beauty and peacefulness of their gorgeous garden. The couple were delightful and super helpful and friendly. On our 2nd night we arrived back very tired from a full day safari at Yala National Park. The couple brought us a lovely tray of coffee and home made cake. It's been our favourite place to stay in Sri Lanka and would really highly recommend.

My stay at Leopard Nest Yala Glamping was exceptional. The staff welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home from the start. The tents were luxurious, offering stunning views and all the comforts one could ask for. What impressed me most was their dedication to sustainability and wildlife conservation. The guided safari through Yala National Park was unforgettable, especially seeing a leopard in its natural habitat. I highly recommend Leopard Nest Yala Glamping for anyone seeking a memorable adventure in Sri Lanka.

This place exceed our expectation. It's simply beautiful, peaceful and hosts are great. We enjoyed our one night stay in the family room. They have a la carte menu with western dishes. Food was great, kids enjoyed the pasta. Also the pool is very nice and well maintained. It's the best place we stayed so far in Sri Lanka. And it's close to the beach, Yala national Park and so. Good location, good atmosphere, very nice hosts and good food. Totally recommended! Will come back for sure! Thank you!

We enjoyed a lot our stay in tissamaharama. The room was quite big, clean and confirmable. The best of your stay it was the safari. We reserve the safari with the guys from the hotel and it was absolutely amazing. They have full equiped jeeps and a lot experience in searching the animals.We enjoyed every moment. We took a full day Safari in Yala national Park and it was gorgeous. It includes breakfast, water, soft drinks, fruits, lunch and snacks. It totally deserved. Very recomendable. Thanks you!

Amazing ....village mango resort .beautiful and clean hotel.peaceful location , a great place to stay for a trip to yala national park ( about 30 min drive ). Channa was the kindest host and very friendly.he arranged good yala safari tour its a fair price. See the 2 leopards and lot of elephants,crocodile . He arrange taxy after safari go to ella for reasonable price. Breakfast was delicious . Dinner rice and curry very testy.thank you and i highly recommend village mango resort ......😍

I spent one night at La Safari Hotel. Very good place. The owner is very kind. Everyone welcomed me well. The rooms and the hotel were very clean. I came here from Ella in their vehicle and on the way I went on a safari in Udawala. I saw many elephants there. After that, I went on a safari in Yala National Park, where I saw elephants, leopards and a bear. I am very lucky. I got to see more animals in Yala than in Udawalawa.Very Good Safari Driver. Everything is Perfect .

Great hotel with good and very helpful team. There was an issue with the pool during our stay related to the current situation in Sri Lanka. We were informed beforehand sufficiently so there were no surprises and we could still enjoy a swim. Even though we booked our Yala National Park safari separately from the hotel, everything went without a hitch. A breakfast was prepared and ready for us and the night guard was very helpful. A definite recommendation from us.

This is one of the nicest home stay/guest house we have stayed in Sri Lanka. It’s very different, with rice fields around. The gardens are lovely & peaceful. The unit is very well presented and it a bit different. The host, Shantha is very obliging with food. We stayed there while doing a safari at Yala National Park & it was close enough to enjoy the surroundings. We highly recommend Yaye Guest House

Very nice place to stay in Kataragama, spacious rooms and really nice food. The owners were very helpful in arranging a safari of Yala National park for us beforehand and Sunanda was a great host, always made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a tour of the spice plantations. You can buy cinnamon produced at the property for only 300LKR, best price we found in all of Sri Lanka

Definitely the best place I've stayed in Sri Lanka. Cleanest place, great location (especially for Yala National Park tour), amazing staff who took care of everything we needed. The rooms are very big with all facilities that can be found in high star hotels. The food was extremely good. If we could be able to take this hotel with us for the rest of our trip, we will no doubt do that.

Perfect location, right near the entrance to Yala National Park for safaris. So much birdlife in the area when you’re sitting and hanging out in the garden - it feels like you’re in in the jungle. Priyantha and his team went out of their way to look after us and create a beautiful environment for our short stay. The Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner were both delicious and ample sized!

A great place to stay for a trip to Yala National Park (about 30-40 min drive). Milshani is so friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely incredible, maybe the best we had in Sri Lanka! The bed was comfy, the AC was great, the shower modern and clean. The balcony over looking the rice fields was a lovely place to sit and relax. Excellent value for money and a great stay.

Hotel Nilketha is a great place to spend your vacation with a good quality service and a helpful staff. The swimming pool was brand new and amazing! The environment was really calm and relaxing, good spacious rooms with a beatiful view. The cost of stay was very bearable and reasonable. They can arrange you safari jeeps to visit Yala National Park. Highly recommend the place.

My time at Podi Hoona Luxury Bush Camp was absolutely great. From the food , to accommodation was absolutely perfect, The chefs food was the best i ate on my trip. The staff organised me a game drive at Yala National Park which I was lucky to witness the magnificent Sri Lankan Leopard, Sloth bear many elephants and many bird species. Its the ideal place to be in the wild.

A beautiful resort in the wilderness close to Yala National Park. The pool is beautiful with views over the rice fields and resident dogs Lola and Rocco are a delight. Chalets are clean and rustic and give you a great safari feel, you will see the occasional ghecko or frog but this is just part of the natural wildlife. Food is delicious and the team are very helpful.
