The location was excellent, near the lake and next to the plaza. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked well. Staff was very nice and the lobby had tables where we could sit and play cards. They sold nice cold beer in the lobby too! Our room had a huge old bathtub!

Quiet, even though we were right close to the market. Room was a good size. Balcony for sitting was comfortable. Short walk to ADO.

La Cabaña del Lago is located 7 km from Catemaco and is facing Catemaco Lake. It is 2 hours and 10 minutes’ drive from Veracruz. Nice view on the lake. The family recomended us activities in the area.

Located on the shores of Lake Catemaco, this hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. Hotel Playa Cristal also offers free parking and banquet facilities. Staff was excellent, friendly, genuine and put up with my poor attempts at Spanish and many questions. Pool area and garden was lovely for chilling. Lake right across the street from main entrance. Parking in central courtyard and a guy came and wiped down the windows after we got it all dusty. We never had dinner, but both breakfasts were amazing. Salsa verde was spicy and wonderful. Again, staff -- from reception, to bar tenders to servers to cleaning staff -- was incredible.
