The breakfast was lovely with very polite staff serving. Really nice safe location opposite one of the canals and on the edge of the town centre only 500m walk from the restaurants and shops with quick access to the national dual carriageway/motorway. Excellent value for money

Clean tidy and very comfortable with nice views. The host and owner, Gerard, was very easy to communicate with and went beyond what you would expect to make sure I had everything i needed and that I enjoyed my stay. The location is great, close to the train station and an easy walk into the town center. I will be staying here again on my next visit.

Le Beau Rivage offers rooms in a monumental 1892 building, only 200 metres from Middelburg Railway Station. It is set next to the canal and features buffet breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Hôtel Le Beau Rivage is a lovely property with a lot of charm located near the river and main part of town as well as very close to the train station. The owner/staff were very welcoming and kind, and the room was extremely clean and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Middelburg.

Lovely clean and well-furnished apartment for the two of us. Massive sofa big enough for watching TV, reading or snoozing. Walking distance from town centre to visit restaurants, cafes, sights, and shops. Had all the kitchen facilities and utensils we needed for self-catering, for the times we did not want to go out for meals. Stairs to climb but large windows created light and airy space, without passers-by looking in. It was a great base for us to explore Middelburg, as well as cycle around other Walcheren towns and villages.

We didn't get all the bed linen we had ordered in advance, but this problem was solved quickly by a very friendly girl from Walcheren Vakanties. We were a little too late on the day of departure and the cleaners arrived when we were still there. They were very friendly, made no problem out of it at all and waited patiently in their car until we had left. Great Polish cleaners!

What a delightful place to stay, very welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. A lovely peaceful setting near a few small villages and close to the sea. Breakfast was excellent and set up in a special building with lovely glass windows and a view to the garden. We definitely recommend this as a beautiful quiet place to stay with excellent staff.

Very friendly personal, really nice place close to the sea, spacy room with a balcony and terrace. There is also a small kitchen with all necessary you need. The breakfast was tasty, so we were enjoy. I forgot my laptop charger and the hotel stuff was very helpfull and sent it back to me.

Great location, directly on the beach, rooms were clean. Pet friendly, that is a big plus. On a windy nights you can fall asleep with the sound of waves crashing on the beach, for me that was amazing. Hotel is directly across a big store and quite close to the town centre.
