It was clean, Dailey house keeping, had aircon if wanted and a tv that we could connect our phones to watch YouTube , and breakfast downstairs for an extra cost which had quite a few options, the bus stops were also only five minutes away

This 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Zaandam, next to the train station that leads you in 12 minutes to the lively Amsterdam. For me the location of the hotel in Zaandam was excellent. I wanted to be halfway from Amsterdam where I could visit the city center and its best historical sites and on the other hand, just 10 minutes in the opposite direction to reach Zaanse Schans and be able to walk next to the centuries-old windmills and their idyllic channels and fields. The room was perfect, the view of the city of Zaandam from the room was very nice. Breakfast was in a very pleasant dining room. It was very varied and complete. Great variety of cheeses, sausages, breads, juices, and lots of fresh fruit. The attention of the staff was very friendly. Faced with a need for information, I appreciated the intervention of Mr. Jaime Andreas Reservation Manager, who was superb and extremely efficient.

Close to Amsterdam by train and to Zaanse Sachs to see the windmills. We could leave our bags at the hotel, after checkout, with no additional charge.

The warm welcome by the owner and sharing of his extensive knowledge of the area, together with the beautifully designed former church, make you feel immediately at home. Stylish room with a comfortable bed and rain shower. Also had dinner, choice of 2 daily specials, I chose the vegetarian curry with rice and naan bread, delicious. And finally, a good a la carte breakfast with sliced fruit, fried egg, croissant, yogurt and old cheese sandwich. Highly recommended, thank you
