Most importantly, the hosts went out of their way to make the place comfy and homey. The kitchen has all the facilities, and also basic cooking ingredients: coffee, tea, sugar, spices, even cereals. We really couldn't ask for more. Yes - there are two flights of stairs to climb. Yes - there is no sink in the toilet. So what? the place felt like the ideal home for us during our stay in Alesund.
