Located in Manakau, Manakau House The Old Manakau Hotel 1920 features a shared lounge, garden and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. You can't judge a book by its cover! The inside of this historic hotel was charming, comfortable and quiet. The host gave my friend and me private rooms even though we booked a shared room because we were to get only guests in the hotel. She was very kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend - especially if you like historic buildings.

Stayed for two nights - extremely clean with everything we needed provided. Very good, comfy bed. Really appreciated being able to take our small dog with us. Very nice hosts on property, but also a very private and quiet stay. Wonderful beach access on our doorstep as well as an nice private outdoor area. BBQ and spa very clean.

Celtic Motel is nestled in amongst the sunny Horowhenua township of Foxton, giving it a hint of 'country' and ensuring it is very peaceful and quiet, yet it is conveniently situated just 400m off SH... They were very accommodating re our late arrival and checking in was easy. A very quiet peaceful location with plenty of parking space - we were towing a trailer. Exceptional cleanliness.

Boasting accommodation with a verandah, Nikau’s on Palmer is located in Foxton Beach. This self-catered holiday home has a garden, barbecue facilities and a log fireplace. Excellent accommodation with amazing attention to detail. Very clean, comfortable, powerful shower and kitchen well equipped. Delicious cakes and a selection of tea and coffee to welcome us. Wonderful quiet location. Would highly recommend.
