Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. This is the most quirky and wonderful hotel we have ever stayed at. If you prefer hotels that sport new carpets, white walls, spotless furniture, and quietly submissive staff, don't visit the Otira Stagecoach Hotel. It is the exact opposite of all that. And we loved it.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. The location is incredible, just off the riverbed! Make sure to head for a short walk there at sunrise. Rooms are clean and cosy, bath and beds are comfy. In a place that is otherwise rather secluded and barren, you get everything you will need. They also provide a lovely, wholesome breakfast which is much required when exploring the area. The bar menu is plentiful too and well served.

The location and parking are very convenient. The apartment space and four rooms are very suitable for us. All the things in the kitchen are enough for us. Besides, the shower is very comfortable. We enjoy to stay here very much.

Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden and a barbecue. The park is in a beautiful setting. The bathrooms, showers and communal kitchen/lounge area were all very clean and well-maintained. We were in a cabin that was very comfortable. The nature walk is definitely worth doing and leads to very impressive waterfall.

The Nook, a property with an open-air bath, a garden and barbecue facilities, is located in Arthur's Pass, 1.4 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, 4.9 km from Temple Basin, as well as 47 km from Broken... Great friendly host. Immediately made you feel welcomed. Apartment was well insulated and kept us warm all night through a really cold night. Got a fantastic toilet with a nice bath!

What a peaceful stay in this cozy cabin surrounded by nature, river sounds, morning birds chirping and amazing night sky. The highlight was the fireplace with wood provided which was so relaxing. Very clear instructions so it was easy to find it even when it was dark. Gary is super friendly, proactive and made sure we understood how to get there.
