Breakfast was provided (you had to indicate interest the evening before) and you are bound to be full after breakfast! The experience felt like us returning home to visit our grans, leaving us stomached full and hearts warm. P.S there is also a chonky cat residing here!!!

Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge is located in the centre of Waitomo Caves Village. Perfect room( actually small cottage) with parking and free breakfast! Mattress with electric heating! Owners-nice couple running everything by themselves. Laundry also available. Nice place, definitely recommend

This home sits atop of a lovely private serene lifestyle block set in the rolling countryside of the Waitomo Area-We had a lovely host whom was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The home itself was very clean and presented wonderfully with; all of the modern kitchen equipment. There were additional entertainment features I.E indoor and outdoor games and BBQ facilities- Modern fire place with wood provided. The bedrooms were immaculately presented with linen and generally a great home layout. Spacious home which can accommodate a large group easily.

Beautiful environment, useful facilities, … and most importantly: cleanliness. This was the cleanest hostel we’ve stayed at (we’ve been to many around the N island). Best spice of the place: Dave, his unique sense of humor and his lovely dog :)

Just 600 metres from the famous Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, this award-winning holiday park features a large swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, BBQ area and a children’s playground with trampoline. Very clean facilities, and the park is set up so that the pool and playground are in view of most of the cabins and powered sites. Staff were friendly and helpful with late check in. Very close to the Waitomo caves.
