We had an amazing stay at Kame Hostel. Chris and his mother create a very welcoming space. The rooms are basic but clean and it is in a more quiet part of Huaraz which is nice. The common room is cozy AND they have a fireplace which was amazing. They also have a good kitchen! But most of all Chris is a great guy and is very willing to share information about treks to make sure you have a good time. We booked 3 nights, extended with 3 more and wanted to stay even longer. Because of Easter it wasnt possible! Would highly recommend!!

Akilpo Home really felt like home. The 3 brothers who run the hotel do everything to make you feel at peace. Every time of the day they are ready to help you with anything you need, from recommendations where to eat, to the perfect hiking itinerary. The rooms in the hotel are spacious, the beds are one of the best we had in Peru, and the rooms are cleaned every day (if you want). Breakfast is delicious and with some variety every day. Conclusion: when in Huaraz, stay at Akilpo. You won’t regret it!

The attention is incredible, all the staff are impeccable and of incalculable kindness, I feel proud of Peru, the level of talent and professionalism with which they work, I have the most pleasant memories, a special greeting to everyone, thank you very much for everything, always caring about the guests, thank you for your patience. From the first moment on we felt very welcome at the Hostel. The owners and the staff are very nice, fluent in English and helpful with everything. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Furthermore evrything is clean and the place has a rooftop terrace and a table tennis. From the hostel it is approx. 5 minutes to the main street. We definitely recommend this hostel for a cozy and welcoming stay in Huaraz!

The value of the room is definitely worth the price. Suit for people travel alone and want to spend some extra money to own their private space. The staff is super helpful, and you can book classic tours through the hostel front desk. Even if you have other plans, it is still a good base to explore Huaraz. The hot water works and the kitchen is fully functional. The terrace/dining and kitchen area has a superb view.

During our trip in Peru - staying at Selina in Huaraz was one of the best places. It’s such a warm, welcoming and fun place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Probably the best in Huaraz. We really appreciated the tips the crew & manager gave us. We weren’t prepared very well but they helped us with the rental of hiking sticks, etc. We had already stayed in different Selina Hotels but this one was better.

It was a very good hostel. The breakfast was delicious, and the cleanliness and service were excellent. The host Ronald and his family are kind and helpful whenever you need anything. There are shops nearby, so it's not inconvenient at all. Staying at this hostel made me fall in love with Huaraz. I would like to return to this place and recommend it to others as well.

What a gem of a hostel in Huaraz - Carla has created a place with shared kitchen, fridge option, best stone oven baked pizzas, drinks (pisco sour...) - all in a cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpfull in arranging tours in the magic mountains. This has been one of my favorite Hostal in Peru. A great vibe full of a lot of Avid hikers. A nice breakfast served every morning. The staff were very helpful and happy to answer any of your questions. They were also very relaxed. It's really a perfect base for those looking to stay in Huaraz longer. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved the vibe of the hostel. It has a proper hostel atmosphere, with great beds and good showers, once you get the adjustment right. Also big shout-out to the owner who helped me with a lot of advice for treks and trips. He was genuinely interested in what things I do in Huaraz and helped me out with renting stuff.

I stayed months here in the hostel and had the best experience of Huaraz. I learned rock climbing here thanks to Omar and his friends for bringing me along with them. The hostel is full of good energy and meeting travellers makes the stay memorable. After a long day the terrace is the best place to hang out and relax

The owners are very nice! They arranged everything for us during our stay (good price), including tours, earlier breakfast etc. Also had a (very) early check in after a night bus. Location directly in the city center with the street market in the same street, but no noise. Hotel is just perfect to stay in Huaraz.

Beautyfully decorated hotel in a quit street in Huaraz. The city center is a 20 minute walk. The breakfastroom offers a stunning view at the mountains. The room was clean, spacious and comfortabele. The hot shower and bath were a treat after a long hike. In the evening we dronk local beers near the fireplace.

Zarela is an excellent host - gracious, knowledgable and helpful, friendly and unintrusive. The hotel is simple, but clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, same as the owner. It is also a little away from the hustle and bustle in the center of Huaraz, which is a pleasant thing.

Excellent hotel in Huaraz! Super comfortable room, free breakfast included, and the staff are all super nice and go out of their way to accommodate you. After staying in a hostel my first night and then trekking, this place felt like a 5-star hotel! Definitely one of the better hotel options in Huaraz.

Friendly hostel with plenty of facilities to help during your stay. They offer tours for good prices, early check-in / late check-out, breakfast and a small kitchen to use, wifi, etc. They were helpful with all requests and provided a good stay for us in Huaraz.

It is a very good hotel , clean and very good breakfast , the old lady from the kitchen very friendly she helped us giving Mate de coca bc we didn’t arrived good to Huaraz . Also she give us additional one bread she was very very friendly well educated .

A proper modern hotel with clean rooms and attentive staff, very good food, and central location in Huaraz. I was upgraded to a better room upon arrival. The hotel has a private conference room for group meetings.
