Charos Dormitel response to our queries before our arrival and had allowed us to check-in very very late (10/10 on this). The staffs were very accommodating during our stay and very fast during check-in & check-out. Interior designs are very instagramable. Room is at affordable price. It was very clean & has good quality of furnishings. Highly recommended.

Facing the beachfront, Liberty's Community Lodge and Diving offers 4-star accommodation in Dumaguete and has a garden, terrace and restaurant. My stay this year at Liberty's Community Lodge is my second. My first was back in 2015. I like this accommodation in terms of its location, the overall "island" vibe and the staff. That's why I didn't have any second thoughts about choosing this place for my second visit after 9 years. Pretty much everything remained the same. Before I stayed in their dorm accommodation, but this time, I opted to get a private room for myself, the one facing the sea and with the small balcony. I am SO IN LOVE with the vibe, with the surroundings and the feel of those rooms. Especially the room is sunset-facing. The location of Liberty's is also where you can freely dive/snorkel without having to pay the tourist fee of 300 pesos. You can go to the rock formation area and the cove right next to it, and you will experience an underwater PARADISE that is beyond words can explain. The sea turtles, the incredible reefs and marine life are just close from the beach, though it gets deeper fast, but you don't have to go really deep just to see them! I also like the access/path going to the lighthouse, it is a nice walk up and down in the afternoon and see the sunset from the view area.
