In the Serra da Estrela Mountains, this Manteigas hotel offers guest rooms with balconies overlooking forest landscapes of Serra da Estrela . Very welcoming hosts. Although the room wasn’t huge the balcony was, which made storing our suitcases easy as the weather was fine. The swimming pool looked very inviting. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and for the included breakfast. There is also a comfortable guest lounge.

Clean, spacious and well appointed rooms. Beautiful and peaceful location. Great food and wine in restaurant. Friendly and very accommodating staff.

Casas da Lapa is a modern hotel ideally situated on a hill top, inside the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela. It is located within a typical mountain village, Lapa dos Dinheiros. location and room were amazing. staff were friendly and very helpful. felt very welcome

Situated in Serra da Estrela Nature Park’s mountains, this design hotel offers mountain-view rooms with amenities including an LCD TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Staff and Service. Top notch where nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has a smile and the overall vibe is delightful. There was an issue with WiFi in my room and it was responded to quickly and effectively. Food. Absolutely wonderful. The dinner menu at 40 Euros is a bargain... apertif, amuse boche, breads, starter, soup, main, dessert, and coffee. The food is well prepared and the portions are ample. I note the size of portions is much better than a previous stay seven years ago. Room. I stayed in the suite and love its ambience. Snacks. From 4 PM to 6 PM there is a selection of snacks... sweet and savory. They are diverse and change every day.

Located in Lajeosa do Mondego, municipality of Celorico da Beira – the Serra Cheese capital – Casas do Durão-Memories House is set at the base of the Estrela Ridge and offers a tranquil stay. A magical place with the family history that is around on the walls through pictures and family tools. The house housed a museum containing antique items that have been useful for the past 200 years. The hospitality was warm and generous and the generous breakfast with the beautiful dishes was a celebration.

Hotel da Vila features free WiFi throughout the property and views of mountain in Manteigas. Each accommodation at the 2-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace. The breakfast was OK but the times from 8 to 10 am were too early for me. For those who like to breakfast early, it is really very good.
