The luxuriously decorated Hotel Kras in Postojna, close to the world-famous Postojna Cave, offers well-equipped, elegant accommodation with magnificent views of the Nanos Plateau and the town. This is our 2nd time at the hotel. Everything was perfect!

Located just 100 metres from the entrance to Postojna Cave and completely refurbished in 2016, Postojna Cave Hotel Jama features an on-site restaurant and bar. Firstly, I must mention Hotel's staff. From the beautiful, pleasant and professional ladies on the reception and ladies in the restaurant to the room maids and even gardeners, they all deserve all compliments and respect for their professionalism and dedication to make customers welcomed, relaxed and looked after. Hotel Jama with its facilities gives you everything you need. Few steps from the Cave and number of restaurants has exceptional position. The rooms are of really decent size. My advise: take the room with a balcony. It gives you a lot for a few more bucks. Breakfast: there was even more than you can ask for.

Completely renovated in 2018, ECO Hotel Center is only a 10-minute walk from the world-famous Postojna Cave. Great location. Friendly staff. Plentiful and tasty breakfast. Will come again!

Located on the main square of Postojna, right next to the old town, Apartments Proteus is set just 500 metres from the famous Postojna Cave. My booking in apartment was changed with no surcharge for brilliant suite in Hotel Jama. I recommend Hotel Jama for very spacey and comfortable rooms.

Hotel Rakov Skocjan in Cerknica boasts a garden and a shared lounge. This 3-star hotel offers free WiFi. Some rooms come with a balcony. At the hotel, the rooms come with a desk. They have had no issues with me arriving very-very late (3AM). The room was quite, cosy, and private - as promised. The road leading to the hotel through the forest is interesting - it was an adventure during the night, and I could even see some nice furry creatures scurrying along.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Apartma Azurre is set in Postojna, 30 km from The Škocjan Caves and 46 km from Trieste Train Station. The owner was very helpful, she has baked a pie for us and it was on the table when we have arrived. There was free mineral water in the fridge. A wide range of tea bags and coffee have been also available - for free.

Sobe pri Roži features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Postojna, 8.7 km from Predjama Castle. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, picking us up from the bus station and taking us to do our food shopping as well.
