The place is very home feeling and very beautiful. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and they have hot water. The breakfast was very delicious. David organise my trip for the Usambara mountians. It was my best trip in Tanzania. I had the best guide with me. Baraka is very knowledge about the nature and he is very educated. If you like to go for village hiking he is the best guide in Lushoto! I really enjoy my stay in this place. It's very peaceful for sure. I hope to come back!

When my guide for a multi day hike I was going on wasn’t responding the family called friends and found him for me and were very gracious while I waited.

Dissolve away your stresses!
It has quite a bit of activities to do, most probably a three night stay would be just right to do most of them, but you can spend more if you just want to relax and enjoy the nice views and cool weather. Places of eating are rather few and they tend to run out of stock especially for large groups...make sure you give out very early notification of your order or you'll be disappointed. Take caution about some money minded individuals who are just out to make big money at the view points!.. getting around is pretty easy, you can hike with a guide if you're strong or even rent a taxi which are quite reasonable. Overall Lushoto is a great place to spend a quality time to relax and dissolve ones stresses....Enjoy!!

The weather in Lushoto is Amazing.
The weather in Lushoto is Amazing. The views are breathtaking. The best view one can get in lushoto is Jiwe La Mungu. Its almost 3 hours drive from Lushoto Town.

From € 29 per nightThe hosts are very friendly and you feel at home because the host took care of any questions you had. I had the apartment directly above the host's apartment. Was one of the best accommodations I had in Tanzania, very clean and a good intact mosquito net. That wasn't always the case elsewhere. Breakfast was great, comfortable bed, fantastic views of the mountains and there is a shortcut to Lushoto, a 10 minute walk. But important to know for some, the accommodation is on a hill. I had a good time there. Always my pleasure.

The staff is very kind and David is an amazing host, closed all the buses for us (from Dar to Lushoto and from Lushoto to Arusha), recommended us about the activities in the area and we even went on a day trip with him. He has a lot of connections with guides in Tanzania and he helps with what is needed (he also a guide for safari tours himself!). Very warm recommendation, we really loved staying there!

I travelled to the Lawns with family and friends for two nights. We were visiting the Lushoto area. We had a super stay at the Lawns. What we particularly liked were: 1. The clealiness and size of the rooms 2. The fantastic food - especially the barbacue on Friday night 3. The really convenient location near to Lushoto town 4. The very friendly staff - especially the owner !

The surroundings are beautiful, the hotel is really into the nature, the view from the rooms and restaurant is amazing. The restaurant serves really good food and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a not in the center of Lushoto but really this was not a problem for me.
