Featuring free Wi-Fi in the rooms and free parking, Optima Collection Zhytomyr is located in the historic and business centre of Zhytomyr. Cathedral Square is in 5 minutes' walk away. The room was big and clean, with nice view. Breakfast was tasty, despite there were not much to choose from. Staff was very friendly and polite.

Impressions from a short trip to Zhytomyr
If I had to choose a word to describe Zhytomyr, it would be "cozy". It's a big city with the charm of a village. The architecture of the city centre is wonderfull, with very well preserved old style buildings, wide avenues to walk along and a huge city park right beside the city center that looks more like a natural park! Places to visit include the Sergey Korolyov Cosmonautics Museum, which has in it's collection the capsule and the spacesuits from the Soyuz-27 mission, the aforementioned city park and the numerous typical restaurants in the city centre!

First time in Zhytomyr. It snowed, was awesome )))...it does not snow in the city I live in, so this was fantastic !! The big shopping mall is amazing, found it easy to navigate once I'd figured out where I was , coming or going)) Tried different restaurants, was very nice food and the service was outstanding, really nice wait staff and managers.

We stayed at Charivne Ozero (Чарівне озеро) for one night on our way to Lviv. Wonderful hotel complex on the shore of the quiet lake with beautiful views. Recommendations for the dinner are attached - we spent around $50 for both of us including "Саперави" wine, which was too dry.. Everything else was great. Room was clean and had mosquito nets on the windows. Breakfast was tasty Highly recommended, 5-stars!
