Andrew and his parents welcomed us as if we were part of the family, they even let us eat with them in the evening and cooked us an excellent dinner with local products. They also recommended different activities for the day and Andrew is really helpful if you need a hand with transport or to organise some activities. In short, loving family and quiet and clean place. Thank you very much for everything!

Bernard has a boda boda and very kindly met us in Kisoro and drove us to Ntebeko River Camp. He also found out where the gorillas were for my trek the next day and as they were not near Ntebeko he took me to breakfast at Amajambere Iwacu Community Camp and then to the appropriate gate. After the trek he was there to meet me and take me back to Ntbeko. Excellent service. Our accommodation had very comfortable beds and lovely new en suite bathrooms with hot showers. It was very nice to have a separate sitting / dining room to relax in and it was also nice to have the verandah overlooking the private garden to sit outside on. The food was very good at Amajambere Iwacu Community Camp and there was a lot of it ! It was nice to meet other people there and the dining room had a lovely log fire in the evening. Edison is excellent at responding to messages and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Ntbeko River Camp.

Gorilla Hills Eco-Lodge is a fantastic place to base your gorilla trekking adventure. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and well appointed, but what makes this place special is the staff. They are fantastic. We never wanted for anything. The service was incredibly personal and they went above and beyond at every opportunity to ensure our comfort and happiness. There was quite a serious snafu with our gorilla permits and Anette and her staff bent over backwards to straighten it out for us. Without their intervention, we would have left Bwindi without seeing the gorillas. They saved our entire trip. I can't thank them enough. The gorilla trekking was absolutely the highlight of our stay in Uganda. If you are going, it is a must do - bucket list- incredible experience. That said, with total confidence, I highly recommend Gorilla Hills Eco-Lodge.
