Shawn the owner's reception upon our arrival warmed our hearts. At the end of our chat he gave us excellent recommendations for sightseeing in Acadia National Park and local dining. When we realized we could use a cot for my daughter, he provided us one with a nominal fee. His staff delivered ice to us when the ice machine was not yet on (we learned it was the first day of the hotel opening in the year). This was one of the best travel lodging experiences we have had thus far.

The view was spectacular! The room was large and spacious with a great kitchen area. Downstairs breakfast was hot and fresh each morning with lots of options to choose from. The room and hotel were very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The location to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor could not have been better. I would have loved to have been able to stay longer! I will definitely be staying here again.

Excellent location! Clean, quiet, comfy room. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Easy walk to the main tourist strips of Bar Harbor(Main, Cottage, and West streets), grocery store. But also very easy to get to Acadia National Park without having to drive through traffic. This is a no-frills motel, so see the next section for a list of amenities this hotel does not have.

I thought that the staff was extremely polite and helpful when it came to giving advice about local attractions and locales to go to within Acadia National Park as well as around the city proper. In addition, multiple trails were specified and they were always willing to help advise about the hotel's services. The pool area was very nicely landscaped and a hottub.

The room is super clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The bathroom was well stocked, and room service was provided everyday. The view of the Atlantic Ocean is beautiful, and the breakfast was up to expectations. The walls were thick I believe, and the hotel is 10 minutes away from Acadia National Park as well as downtown Bar Harbor (for food/cute stores).

The property location is great! It’s close to Acadia National park and very close to Bar Harbor. The parking and access to Hotel is very convenient. The breakfast is good. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent motel bang on in the centre of Bar Harbor! Amazing beds, the bathroom was brand new and the toiletries very nice and quality. The room was spotless and everything in working order. The breakfast was simple but well organised and sufficient. It was so cool doing a bit of people watching from the balcony, Bar Harbor is such a lovely little town, very touristic. Such a great little motel at great prices ( we did go off season)

The staff were so kind and helpful. Always happy to have a chat and always smiling. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are a generous size. The free breakfast is also a nice little bonus. Not just your basic toast or cereal but full bacon, eggs, fruit, etc.

We got stranded a 1/2 mile down the road because of a bad tire as we were traveling through. The tire wasn't available that day. The manager was very thoughtful and when our tire didn't come in until the next day @ 1:30 they didn't charge us for the extra hours past check out time. We REALLY appreciated that! And it was so nice to have a lovely front porch with rockers to relax, an accommodating dining area where we could get snacks, coffee and drinks. We met many guests who have been coming there for ten years or more and that tells you a lot! The staff is AMAZING! Helpful and clean the rooms excellent.

Absolutely beautiful Inn! Wonderful location, staff, and accommodations. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the beautiful furniture. We enjoyed sitting on the lawn by the fire pits and having a drink. We will definitely return!

The room.was beautiful and I had a private bathroom and shower room. I loved the chocolate chip cookies on arrival and breakfast served at my door in the morning was wonderful
