Ideally located in the centre of Anchorage, Highliner Hotel- King Suite #111 Hotel Room offers free WiFi throughout the property and free private parking for guests who drive. For being designed completely. code-accessed (no physical staff when I arrived early evening) the instructions sent to me were clear, & thorough. I didnt realize til after I booked a hotel was set up that way: both outdoor access Hotel doors say Highliner Hotel is the 1st Alaska code-acess-only hotel. Bed, linens, furnishings very comfortable. Clearly a complete remodel of an existing building. Note: basic in-room coffee, (no tea), yes fridge. About 1 block to new Fire Island Bakery toward downtown & block to Credit Union bank, each. Convention center just blocks away. Extensive Park greenspace 1 building away across a street.

When I showed up I was pleasantly surprised, and then super surprised when I was the guest of honor randomly picked. My grandson was ecstatic. They upgraded our room, and the pool was an absolute blast cleanest place I’ve ever been as far as hotel, and the people were very very kind.

We used the hotel as a hub for our various expeditions during our one-month stay in Alaska and they held our luggage for us at various points when we didn't want to bring everything with us.
