The lady was very friendly and upgraded our room. The room itself was huge. Had everything we needed. Everything was clean. Breakfast was good. Had a bagel, cream cheese and coffee. Parking was right outside our room. The place has obviously suffered some storm damage and there are signs explaining why aome things look tired.

There is no garden. It was sad. We changed our reservations to the little purple cottage which was so worth the extra money. We had full ocean view with fire pit in a big yard and it was nice and private. The whole resort is on dire need of repairs. I would call it rustic motel and cottages. Yet very clean, well-equipped and staff is very friendly. Breakfast (continental) could be a little more varied for the price.

A great view of the water from our room's balcony and a lovely walk down the beach. Having a restaurant and a bar on site was very convenient and the food was good. The breakfast was mainly pastries, cereal and some fruit, but whatever you needed was provided. We accidently locked ourselves out of our room and they were very gracious about supplying an additional key. Our room was good, and large (we booked the suite, we were 2 couples traveling.) The deck off the room was lovely, with a view of the water. There is a gem of a breakfast place beside the lobby area, The Bean Barn Cafe. The Resort has recently changed management, and I think once its renovated, it will be amazing. You can see they are working hard towards it.PPeterGroup
