It was.a choice of economy. The room is very basic but the bed so comfy and we only wanted To go to a concert sleep and go home. We didn't want luxury or fuss. We expected basic and got basic but the room was very clean and the bed very comfy

This was the 2nd time in as many weeks that we stayed here. A lovely hotel, in wonderful grounds, a well equipped gym, and an okay swimming pool. Really enjoyed both of the stays Thank you The room was wonderful, the bathroom, lovely, the added dressing gown & slippers were a touch of luxury Again, thank you so much

Nothing Exquisite luxury retreat definitely not as described . This is a gross mis representation of thos property which we paid a significant amount of money for and runied our christmas as we needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting relatives.I have added 4 photos but i have many more. This property needs delisting from booking.com

From outstanding service provided in the tavern, delicious breakfast which we had included in the price for the room, cleaning service, extra milk, waters and beer in the rooms fridge. Coffee selection and chocolates. Air conditioning. We could even leave our suitcase as we planned to spend a few more hours after check out still in the city.

The price didn't reflect my expectation because the room we had was excellent value for money. As a family of 4, we had an unexpected upgrade to the family suite, which had two rooms for added privacy. The receptionist was outstanding! The whole stay was 10 times better than a recent stay in a luxury hotel in Newport. Will definitely recommend, and stay again!

This hotel is close to Eastleigh and Southampton, so suited our purposes perfectly. We chose this one because we wanted a little luxury, without paying too high a price. Breakfast was included and was very good. GF cereal was on offer, also bread/toast
