This was the best hotel of the trip. We stayed in about 5 and this one took the cake. The views were spectacular, the breakfast had a wider variety and was delicious, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the scenery was so peaceful. It was a true vacation. The room was clean and they provided many free services as well. Hands down the best hotel I’ve been to so far. I will be returning again soon and will recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is travelling to Japan.

If one expects as fancy ryokan, this is not the place. You will however find a place that is unique and captures the wonderful atmosphere of a bygone era (in this case the Showa Jidai).
