The husband and wife were very helpful from beginning to end and always with a smile on their face. They are so passionate in their cooking (which was very yummy) and also in telling us information about the old city. We had the option of renting bicycles for the day ($5 each) or renting a tuk tuk ($15 for 4 hours) and decided to take the bikes. We had such a beautiful day cycling and got to see way more than we had expected coming in to Anuradhapura. They also helped us organise the safari to Wilpattu i.e. tuk tuk to and from, entry ticket and jeep, which was by no means cheap but worth every single penny and has been the highlight of our trip so far.
