My husband and I spent 3 nights in Roberto's resort and it was amazing. It has been our best accommodation in the Philippines and Roberto and his staff were super nice, helpful and welcoming to us. Roberto has shared a lot of information with us on how to get to the resort and also arranged for us to get a public van to go to El Nido. We also did a land tour and a boat tour and we've had a great time as the area is not so touristic, so most beaches we had just to ourselves. And by far, the best thing was the food. We ate in the resort every day and everything was freshly prepared and super delicious. I totally recommend Roberto's place, you will have a great time!

This was our first stay on Palawan and we can only recommend it to everyone. it is the perfect secluded island, they offer boat pickup, the walk from the van terminal to the boat is approx. 7 minutes and the boat staff and resort staff are so nice and welcoming! the Café serves great food with vegetarian options and there are many nice little places to stay and relax on the beach. prices are similar to Port Barton which surprised us since everything has to be delivered by boat. All in all a great experience, it feels like paradise! there are Four cute dogs living on the property that are so funny to watch- we loved them. low smartphone service so a digital detox is included.

Lazuli resort is situated right at the beach at the edge of Alimanguan, a nice and charming local small town. We were looking for a quieter place without the infrastructure places like El Nido offer - and we found it. The rooms are nicely designed, very spacious and clean and have nice bathrooms with the best water pressure we have experienced in all of Palawan. Staff is very friendly and attentive and helped us with our transfers both arriving and onward. 
The grounds are nicely landscaped, the pool clean and big enough to swim a few laps. 
Breakfast was included in our room rate, very tasty and included French press coffee instead of the usual instand stuff you would get in other places. We also enjoyed other meals at the restaurant and the quality was always great!
