The property was super amazing! From the layout, to the flowery garden, and the creme de la creme was the outdoor bathroom with shower!!!! Sarah is an amazing hostess with the mostest. And he husband is one hell of a dj. His "Girl I'll house you" says it all! Old skool acid house brought back memories of my younger partying days! I will definitely return and buyout the entire property next year!!!!!!

Sharazad was a piece of paradise!! We enjoyed every part of it- the staff are amazing, accommodating, and so friendly; the food delicious (both the main restaurant and the Vietnamese one 😍) the accommodation is picturesque, all sand beach and sun; and the activities plenty from yoga, massages, kite surfing and more. I couldn’t recommend staying here for your Zanzibar visit more! Especially if you’re looking for a quiet and idyllic getaway

Small beautiful paradies at the nicest part of the long clean Jambiani Beach. Good cosy 'Wakawaka' restaurant. Everything clean and well maintained. Pleasant large pool and shaded sunbeds for everyone. Due to only 11 rooms in total relaxed atmosphere everywhere. The five "beach houses" are huge with open-air bathrooms. The 6 "normal" rooms are all located in one big 2 story house right next to the five 'beach houses', 3 on ground-floor and 3 on top 1st floor. These rooms were looking a bit more "regular" but same high quality standard at least from outside. All rooms have sea view too. Very romantic location, perfect for couple vacations (adults only).

I loved,especially, that they had a sheet with key Swahili words and phrases in the room information folder. this certainly made my stay in Jambiani very pleasant. my main objective was to get some rest and that is exactly what I received😊 I would love to come back here and highly recommend this place.

I like everything about the property. the resort is placed in Jambiani, in a peaceful and breathtaking position. all over the place is extremely clean, with many places where you can relax and enjoy the music or the sound of the ocean. the pool is quite big, beach beds around it or on the beach. the villa is very spacious and extremely clean. the breakfast is delicios, with a lot of local fruits, fresh juice, coffee and tea. the staff definitely impressed us with their joyful, every moment willing to help us with everything needed. for sure we will be back next year. thank yoy for all you did for us, guys! it was a pleasure for us to meet you and spend time together!

We had several restaurants around, on the beach and in the village. We came with a rental car and could easily park. I enjoyed the proximity with local life, far from the big beach resorts. Amka House offers a great comfort with a local life feeling. I thank deeply the manager for her good advice about visits and nice discussion about local life. Also the breakfast was great with a plate of local fresh fruits, a fresh fruit juice, pancakes and omelet.

We had the all-inclusive package and the food at the buffet was great, a very wide variety of foods, and all super fresh. We stayed in the beachfront villa and the room was simple but good and had air conditioning. It is not as if you spend much time in the room anyway. The villas have their own private beach lounge chairs too.

Compared to other hotels in this region you have a “garden” with swimmingpool in between your room and the beach which makes it even more private but still very well connected. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well equipped. Pool is nice to have especially when the tide is low. We are happy to have stayed here and will come back when in Zanzibar next time.
