This was a trip to celebrate our honeymoon and we were certainly treated like royalty (which I saw so many others had stated in their reviews and yet my expectations were still exceeded!). The staff were ever so polite and genuinely willing to assist when we needed something. The cherry on top was Laura's kindness, generosity and transparency of her personality. it was small & beautiful, decorated in Zanzibari style, clean & great air conditioning! It’s on the east side of the island, much quieter & secluded than Stone Town. the staff was wonderful & respected our privacy. The food was excellent—- Italian chef cooked great dishes ( I wish he wouldn’t have yelled at his staff so much!) They were helpful with taxis & excursions. We have no complaints at all & really enjoyed our time there, we also felt very safe!
