With sea views, Mafia Beach Bungalows sea view is located in Utende and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. The bed and breakfast features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests.

The food was delicious. The staff were very accommodating, and the location is close to all of the major activities i.e. snorkeling, sailing, tours, scuba, … I also really like that Mafia BB is the only locally owned accommodation with all local staff. All of the other locations I visited in Utende are owned by foreigners with a slightly uncomfortable dynamic with local staff.

    I stayed in the tent which had a normal comfortable bed, an electricity outlet and a fan; the daily cleaning of the tent and common shower/bathroom were exceptional, Wifi was spotty at the same time you have free wifi on a remote island! Daily activities (whaleshark trip, diving etc) were nice and value for money; everybody is doing their best to make you feel welcome. Ask to see the local village/school otherwise you only see the beach and resort!

    The resort is beautiful and very clean. The lodges are so big and spacious and everything is just beautiful. The staff is amazing and they go out of there way to help you. The beach is only a 3 minute bikeride so it has a great location.
