The facilities of my room having a private sauna was exceptional. The quality of food was excellent and the friendliness of the staff and overall experience has been so good we decided to change our holiday plans and book into the highest grade suite for an extra 2 nights. Hotel Golden Lake Resort in Balatonfüred offers you a restaurant with a lake-view terrace, a seasonal beach bar, a spa area including an indoor pool and its own marina. Breakfast and diner were good. They cook very well. The staff at the reception is very nice and helpful. The location is perfect.

Excellent saunas, steam bath, there is always plenty of ice in the saunas. The room is smaller but very clean, bathroom without a single stain, bathrobes, towels. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (my husband speaks Hungarian, and I speak English, it's interesting that the staff everywhere remembered that and spoke to us in those languages). Cafe on the roof of the hotel with a great view. All recommendations. We will certainly be guests again.
