At Kandy Mountain Cottage rooms are equipped with a desk, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We loved the location of this place. It is about a 3km walk into the city centre, or a short bus ride, which was our preference because Kandy is quite busy. It is situated up on a hill so you can enjoy beautiful views from your room. There is a little terrace outside the room where you can sit and enjoy a coffee. The room itself was big, comfortable and clean, with double doors that opened up onto the terrace. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The owners were the best part of our stay here. They made us a delicious and very filling breakfast every morning in their kitchen. It felt very comfortable and wholesome. They gave us suggestions on what to check out in Kandy and told us which buses to take to get there (go to the Botanical Gardens, you will not regret it). We liked it so much here that we stayed an additional night.
