Featuring direct beach access, this resort has a barbecue area overlooking the ocean. Each self-contained apartment includes a private balcony or patio. Many apartments also have stunning ocean views and outdoor furniture. it was amazing, beach in the yard, and the jumping equipment for kids. it’s an extremely beautiful wonderful place to stay

Beachside Resort Motel is less than 5 minutes walk from Whitianga centre and less than 100 metres from Buffalo Beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a tennis court.
All of the rooms at Beachside Resort have a DVD player. The self contained apartments also have a kitchenette including tea and coffee making facilities.
Our 'town house' accomodation was obviously spacious, and very well appointed. 2 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms, large kitchen/diner and washer dryer in the house, this was an extremely comfortable stay. Add to this the pool and ample parking, as well as being in a prime location, this is an excellent place to stay

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way).
Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV.
Fantastic trip. Access to the beach and the hiking trails couldn’t be better, only steps away.

Hahei is a wonder, and Tatahi Lodge Beach Resort is the perfect place to stay during your time there. The staff is accessible and kind—going above and beyond to make your stay pleasant! The room “comes with” a shovel for Hot Water Beach, and beach towels. The studio has a lovely window sitting area, private backyard space, incredibly comfortable bed, and (random) a really neat wooden counter top. Everything was clean and well cared for. I extended my stay, I enjoyed it so much!

Great little resort. Even better they had free laundry facilities! Great location for a morning walk. Make sure you do Mt Paku if you stay here, well worth the walk.

Excellent facilities like home from home. Plenty of kitchen utensils , cloths, washing up liquid, big fridge freezer, bin liners crockery, microwave , bbq ready to go - really great accommodation beautifully presented - beach towels provided. Wonderful reception - so kind and helpful. Great amenities on site - beautifully kept resort with a very short walk to the beach.

Stayed for 2 weeks. First apartment didn't have an oven or fridge freezer (small fridge only). Asked Managers if we could change. No problem at all, moved next day. Great apartment. There during first cyclone so saw a lot of rain through the large windows. People still using pool. Great family resort. Perfect situation on the main street of Whangamata.
