Many apartments also have stunning ocean views and outdoor furniture. Amazing stay right on the beachfront. Saw the sunrise. Gorgeous hot tub. Sadly, we were only there for 1 night checked in late and left super early in the morning but still appreciated the friendly accommodating staff and location.

Beachside Resort Motel is less than 5 minutes walk from Whitianga centre and less than 100 metres from Buffalo Beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a tennis court.

All of the rooms at Beachside Resort have a DVD player. The self contained apartments also have a kitchenette including tea and coffee making facilities. The room set up was good. Plenty of space.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way).

Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV. The Hahei Beach Resort is directly on the beach. It’s easy to go swimming or watch the sunrise or sunset.

Just 8 minutes’ walk from Whangamata Beach, Palm Pacific Resort & Motel boasts an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a tennis court. It offers accommodation with free WiFi and a private patio overlooking the gardens. The location and how close it was to everything.

Located on The Esplanade overlooking Tairua Harbour, Paku Lodge Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony and harbour views. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, BBQ facilities and free kayak and bicycle rental. Great sized room - well equipped for cooking, balcony with a great view, parking right outside the room door, a hose to wash your feet before entering; this resort was the perfect place to stay. Our room was so close to the beach that we could put our baby down for a nap and the monitor would reach us on the beach. We were able to book an additional night luckily due to a cancellation - we only planned to stay for a night but this area is so beautiful we wanted to stay longer. The beach in this area is full of families.

Located next to the Lost Spring Thermal Pools, this resort offers direct access to Buffalo Beach and has a heated outdoor pool, tennis court and a children's playground. Free WiFi is available in most rooms and all public areas. Amazing accomodation.Perfect stay.
