As Canadian golfers pursuing the links, Trevor arranged for us to join a golf tournament at the Nopera golf course. This required a short boat water ride across the gorgeous sound by equally kind and generous Kiwis Ang and Christopher- who were playing in the tournament. While we scooted across the sound our guides pointed out features around the shore which were not in any guide books. Trevor arranged a delicious dinner for us upon our return which put the fresh in freshly caught. Our chefs were an engaging young couple who prepared a delicious meal. This place is not to be missed in any trip to New Zealand.

Located in Te Rawa in the Marlborough Region, 26 km from Picton, The Lodge At Te Rawa is accessible by boat only and features a barbecue and a private beach area. Everything, absolutely awesome people and location, had the best sleeps I’ve had for ages ♥️

Our fifth time at the Lodge and we hope to be back.

Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a hot tub. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with sea views and free WiFi. Great little apartment with amazing views! Rooms were warm and cosy.
