Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLack of WiFi in the apartment (wifi only available in the reception). Andorra is out of EU roaming and local sim cards is quite expensive (3GB mobile data costs 19€). If you need to work remotely, it can be challenging. There was a renovation works next door and lots of noise from early morning.
Fantastic location, very friendly receptionist, pets accepted for reasonable extra fee.

FranceThat's the typical place that tries to make as much money with the minimum. -the manager (Ronnie) was agressive from the very beginning, making all communication with him very unpleasant. Trying to teach lessons about everything, to every customer (we saw him with other people) - no wifi except in front of the reception, only 1 banch outside, it must be a real battle and nightmare in winter for ski season - the electricity for the heating in the bathroom was half broken, making it dangerous, definitely not legal. - the electric stove display was not working properly, not safe - after nicely asking, he didn't let us leave the motorbike in the parking, still plenty of spots and moto doesn't take much space, so we ended up leaving it outside with people sitting on it - which kind of hotel asks customers to empty their trash at the end of the stay ??? For that price, it is outrageous. If we had payed 25€ per night, it would be alright, but not 58 !
The location is rather good (for summer and hiking, NOT for winter and skiing)

SpainWe called and asked about WiFi and mentioned it was needed for some important work video calls. We were told no problem and the wifi was good. When we arrived we were informed there was only WiFi in the front office and that they were installing WiFi in the rest of the building in the next couple of days. We stayed five nights and there was never WiFi installed. I am pretty sure the front desk guy was just lying. He was the same person we spoke to on the phone.
The location was great.

IsraelMost worst hotel in Andorra. Super unfriendly staff ! No how water, no one to talk with. Everything is too old and too used. No sound isolation at all, you can hear everything from neighbors No WiFi at the rooms ! Only on the reception ! They write credit card details by hand on the paper!!! Data leakage it's only about the time !!! Avoid this place. It's not worth even it's for free

United KingdomNO WIFI!!!! Only at reception. In Andorra when you don't have internet if you are not a resident it is just unbelievable to not have wifi in an apartment. Very old, completely basic, uncomfortable, looks like time stopped 30 years ago here. Broken things, dump, unsafe electric wires etc. Needs a complete restoration/ renovation asap. Outside mattresses with mould/ dump make us sick. We've been a few times in Andorra and were always happy with our facilities but this one ruined our visit. Avoid!!!

SpainThe building, fittings, and decor are from the 70s/80s, which along with appliances that were well past their their best, gave the apartment a very shabby and pretty miserable feel. Certainly not somewhere that you look forward to going back to after a day on the slopes. The sleeping arrangements consisted of a small pull-out sofa bed with a thin mattress, which had us longing for our own bed after the first night, as well as a rickety wooden bunk bed which creaked. Supplied bedding was 6 very old woollen blankets, no duvets, and a few very old thin, lumpy pillows which had seen better days. The kitchenette was fitted with a very old full-size dishwasher, with trim hanging off, just two electric hob rings. an old fashioned french-style exposed element toaster, no kettle, an ancient fridge; the internal door pockets of which had long since broken off, and a single wire shelf that wobbled. There was also an old filter coffee machine - do people even use those anymore!? Only one set of cutlery, one dinner plate, one side plate, one bowl, one mug and one thimble sized glass were supplied per person. the only modern appliance was a basic wall mounted microwave, however when we tried to use this at the same time as the hob rings, it would trip the main fuse and leave us without any power. The building has no central heating, instead you are provided with two odd high wall mounted electric radiators, painted black, which look almost identical to small flat screen TVs. These provided ample heating, as long as the thermostat was set on full. The bathroom was a similar affair, with a very old and tired suite, a toilet that wobbled when you sat on it, and a small radiator that was completely rusted. What was most starling for us was the lack of in-room wifi. The only wifi was outside the main reception desk, but with a max 1 person allowed in reception, it meant a crowd of very cold and miserable looking people cowering outside to access their emails etc.
Apartment was well located, about a mile from the gondola in Soldeu - approx 15-20 min uphill walk or 1 minute in the car. It was clean and equipped to a basic level, just enough to manage.
