Ana's rest house was fantastic. Super inviting, friendly and homely. The staff were so lovely and really made us feel welcome and took the time to tell us about the house and the town. The place is on a quiet street and very close to the center of town by foot. We extended our stay by an extra night.

Loved staying at Ana Rest house. The owners made it feel like a home rather than just a guest house! The location was amazing- near a lot of the other hostels and the house itself was very cute. Rooms were very clean as well as the common area. I especially enjoyed the terrace with the beautiful view. Hosts prepared a lovely breakfast in the morning and were always soo helpful with tips for Berat as well as teaching me some Albanian words. Would always come back and can't recommend enough!

No AC in the rooms, only a fan. Got really hot overnight in the Berat heat.

Staff are really friendly and keep the place super clean. Nice shaded outdoor area to relax and enjoy the view in the heat. Good breakfast that changes each day. Only a small place with 12 beds so not heaps of people around but still enough to socialise and enjoy your stay.

Familial, tidy guest house in Gorica with a stunning terrace (evening sun!) and very nice hosts - truly a place to rest in beautiful Berat. We enjoyed staying there a lot. No airconditioning in the rooms, but although it was quite hot outside, we didn’t miss it, as the rooms stay quite cool.

Not a deal breaker but something I wish I’d have known in advance, so I could have planned for it: the hostel is on a hill and you can’t get there by car. The road is under construction and even if it weren’t, it’s too narrow for a car. I do not recommend trying to reach the hostel with a 18 kg suitcase on wheels.

Lovely place, friendly owners, I really liked the balcony/terrace. There’s a kitchen, if you wish to cook. Coffee/tea making facilities. Reasonable breakfast. Everything was clean. No shoes inside, as usual in Albania, but they provide you with flip flops.

Really nice people. We were the only ones staying so we had the house for ourselves and we left quite early in the morning so we got breakfast to go. The room and bathroom were really clean!

Thea breakfast was amazing, why? all fresh fruits and veggies and it were customized for my vegetarian requirements. The reception was available all time and was flexible to accommodate my extension. Great location and atmosphere, even made friends playing chess.

Bit quiet, more optimised for a relaxed stay maybe as a couple etc. There is another hostel just down the road which is better for socialising/meeting people. All in all though a great wee hostel.

Staff very friendly, room was clean. Free breakfast which was appreciated. Location pretty decent with a nice little courtyard.

A beautiful home with clean and quiet rooms, a nice homely feel and felt very welcomed by the hostel owner. The breakfast was also a good start today, with fresh fruit, eggs and a Turkish coffee!
