Aphrodite's Garden is a small, wonderful oasis above Himare. The view of the bay from the terrace at breakfast or dinner is fantastic. The hosts go to great lengths to ensure that you feel at home and want for nothing. We had a great time here and will recommend it to others. Thank you for your hospitality (and the yummy jam). :)

Clean comfortable room with a great view of the sea. The property is at a scenic location with greenery all around and is 10 mins drive from Himare centre and Livadhi beach. Fresh breakfast with a good spread was served every morning. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was amazing.

The owner and at the same time head chef of the kitchen made our belly very happy. Making some homemade dumlings and pancakes in the morning… And the dinners - you can not just miss out! What a seafood we have had there every night!

A wonderful stay at Aphrodite’s Garden! Our room was lovely and clean with a comfortable balcony and our towels were refreshed during our stay without asking. Complimentary water and toiletries upon our arrival which was appreciated. We had a lovely seafood dinner in the restaurant and the included breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Warm and friendly staff and a fabulous owner who went above and beyond throughout our stay, even digging out her printer to print us our boarding passes when we left! Excellent proximity to beaches, Aquarium was our favourite, and close to Himarë castle ruins. We will be recommending to our friends and family!

Fantastic view in quiet location. The Best breakfast we had in Albania. Friendly, helpful staff speak very good English. Excellent dinner. Good size rooms. Great they have family rooms for 3 or 4 people. Good value. We stayed two nights and would stay again. Highly recommend staying here.

Location, view, peace and quietness!! Aphrodite's garden is a tiny piece of heaven in Himare. We stayed for 2 nights, and wished we could have stayed longer. It has a beautiful view of Livadhi beach. The place is run by Irini who is very pleasant and an amazing cook. We had dinner on both nights and you could tell each dish was cooked with a lot of care. Aphrodite's garden also comes with a family of 5 adorable and playful kittens/cats. Highly recommended place for a peaceful, quiet and rejuvenating stay.

Wish we could stay more longer

Highly recommended this place. This was my favourite and the beessttt stay throughout my whole Albania trip. Everything was 10/10 -host, service, foods, room, facilities, cleanliness and location. First, as soon as you walk in, you will see the beautiful garden with lots of plants and a hammock swing to relax. Garden itself is soo pretty and has lovely decorations- it’s well maintained and looked after. We used to come back early from our day trip to chill outside her garden and watch breathtaking view and the sunsets. It’s very peaceful and quiet place to relax. Secondly, apartment is a new built, and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the whole room itself was perfect with balcony; shower was spacious and clean. Room service was fantastic. They topped up the toilet paper, replaced the towel and changed bedsheet everyday. We had an issue with toilet on our first day as it was not flushing. Host responded to it quickly and toilet was fixed within less than 5mins by calling kithe plumbers at night. Lastly, host (sorry I forgot your name) is sooooo kind, loving and very hard working. She is one of the best host I have ever met. She ensured our stay was pleasant and had great communication. Breakfast was 1000/10- it was so delicious, made fresh daily, and lots of varieties. Another best part is its different menu everyday. We had a fresh orange juice squeezed from their own garden’s orange. Host is a chef too- she cooks really good food. I would highly recommend to eat here too. We had our dinner here- portions is so big and worth every penny and you get free dessert on house, which was very thoughtful and kind of her. Thank you so much for making our stay so beautiful and memorable. Everything was perfect- this place has my heart. I still miss this place. P.s thank you for giving us complementary wine too and Maria (volunteer) it was lovely to meet you. Hope you enjoyed your rest week there.

We were traveling in Albania 3 weeks going from place to place. And this was the best place we stayed in during our entire trip. It's so beaceful with beautiful surroundings. The garden and the viwe is amazing. The room was super clean and the host was very kind. Breakfest was very good. We strongly recommend Aphrodites Garden.
