Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AlbaniaSome areas of the rooms need to be updated to look more like the photos

Czech RepublicThere were a few unfinished details in the rooms - there were coffee mugs but no kettle, TV but no socket to plug it in, old tuna in the fridge😀 But overall, we enjoyed the stay very much and we did not come there to drink coffee and watch TV inside the room.
The rooms were comfortable, everyone was really friendly, we received a complimentary rakii and beautiful red wine made on their farm. It was close to the beach and the beach restaurant had amazing sea food🤤 Sunbeds were free if charge for the hotel guests. The restaurant in the hotel is beautifully refurbished and the food is also nice.

LithuaniaSynthetic bedding 🙁. No heating with AC, some broken items in bathroom, not connected TV. Big difference between photos and reality 😉
The stuff was very nice and helpful. Nice big terrace.

Czech RepublicThe accommodation met my expectations; I didn’t want a large complex right on the beach. I was looking for a family-friendly, cozy, authentically Albanian atmosphere, and that’s exactly what I got. We communicated a bit in Italian, a bit in English 😊. The breakfasts were served, fresh, and homemade (cheese, fig jam, donuts, warm milk, omelet, pancake) along with excellent Italian coffee. We mostly had dinner at their second restaurant on the beach – fresh seafood specialties. Evening relaxation with homemade red wine must offer a great atmosphere in season. I felt like a welcome guest and look forward to returning there again.

Czech RepublicUnfortunately, I didn't like anything in the room. Peeling damp ceiling, broken TV. The shower may have been washed, but there was mold in the joints. The sheets in the bed rather smelled and we found crumpled towels in the drawer. Yes, we were only here for one night, we arrived tired, so we didn't even bother and left for the airport in the morning. It's a shame because the building is beautiful, in a nice location and great people work here, unfortunately I wouldn't rent a room in that condition to anyone..
The only thing I liked about the accommodation - great staff, everyone was very nice, even though we were late and didn't arrive until 7 o'clock in the evening. The breakfast was also nice.

AlbaniaIt was important for us to find a suitable place both for us and for our two dogs, and thanks to this hotel we could enjoy three quiet days. The owner was very kind and the staff very welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast with traditional food, all prepared in the same farm. If you are going to stay in this structure, you should definitely try the berry jam! They made us feel at home. We will surely come back.

PolandThe location is about 30 km to Durres but it has its pros and cons. If you want to go to Durres only taxi. This is not a luxury property but the price is very reasonable and it is ABSOLUTELY WORTH EXPLORING.
It was an unplanned stay but I was very POSITIVELY surprised. It is a family business - hotel and farm, there is the main restaurant in the hotel with a fireplace (very nice) and a beach bar, the beach is nearby. My experience was VERY POSITIVE, very good value for money, clean. The room has a fridge, TV, tea set and air conditioning and comfortable beds (king bed). Tasty food. BUT PEOPLE WERE AMAZING very friendly, open and GREAT PEOPLE! It was something like "if you need something, the owner will do everything to meet your expectations". I definitely recommend it and thank you for a nice stay Marisa :-)

Germany- extremely friendly courteous staff - I got in the evening unexpected a variety of very delicious traditional food, wine and raki - I payed in April 20 euros per night and the breakfast was included and I could order as much as I want, including drinks like coffee and water. The breakfast was also really delicious - the room was nice and very clean - the hotel was just 5 minutes walk away from the sea and the beach - parking is available - I highly recommend that accomodation

AlbaniaArome Natyre Hotel offers a serene escape nestled close to the sea and nature's embrace. The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly their lovely farm, boasting amazing products including their exquisite wine and invigorating raki. The proximity to both the sea and nature creates a calming experience, perfect for rejuvenation. While the rooms are simple, they offer a perfect retreat, allowing guests to unwind and fully immerse themselves in the tranquil surroundings. Overall, Arome Natyre Hotel provides a delightful blend of comfort, natural beauty, and exceptional hospitality. I suggested to everyone you will have a great time.
