No criticism, but location is lower Theth - quiet and good for Waterfall and Blue Eye. North Theth is busier, if that's wanted and close to Valbona trail.

Great location in lower Theth with amazing views. Near the famous church. Hosts Antonio and Maria were lovely - warm and friendly. Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Plenty parking on lawn. Table and chairs on porch. Easy to get to if you ignore Google map - straight past old church.

WiFi had a poor signal in our room

The host couple were so lovely and accommodating. The room was clean. Location was right near a couple of really nice restaurants that do great food and drinks. The location is only about a 15 minute walk from the end of the trail. Breakfast was provided.

Maria and Antonio were the greatest hosts! They do not speak English but make you feel at home every single second, nothing that google translate can’t solve! They helped us to get the bus to the blue eye and to Skhöder.

We had a wonderful time at Buni Shqipes! The host didn't speak much English but was the loveliest man and made sure we had everything we needed, when language skills failed we used Google translate. He even helped us get a taxi to the blue eye. The location was very good, close to several restaurants. The theth-valbona trail starts on the other side of the village but not too far. Hot showers. Beautiful views. Would recommend 100%!

The wardrobe was rather old and therefore we had to put the clothes on a bed. A signpost by the church would make it easier to find the place. Holiday home is maybe a little misleading as it is a two-room place with a small bathroom. In the building are three apartments, two rented out to tourists and one used by the owners.

Even though google first sent us to the wrong place (behind the church continue straight not up the mountain) once we arrived at Buni Shqipes we were greeted very well by the hosts Maria and Antonio (no English but Italian and google translate). They are super-friendly and the breakfast was hearty and good. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. There is no kitchen but a fridge and there are restaurants close by (we especially recommend Shpella just two minutes walk away). Sitting on the balcony or in the garden with these spectacular views of the mountains or under the stars at night was wonderful. We definitely recommend this place.

The first host on our round trip in Albania who welcomed us with a nice coffee and a (bit too large :d) glass of raki (at noon). So we felt very welcome! The host is very helpful although his english is not that good. But nothing that google translate or a call to his cousin can't fix. It was also cute as he's always smiling. Nice, clean & spacious rooms and tasty diner & breakfast! If you stay here, you support a local!

It was kinda hard to find the place, so it's good to share some a route on how to get to the guesthouse. Or maybe put some boards on the roads like other hotels do. That would be helpful. Also, for those who need constant WiFi you should know that sometimes there were electricity missed in the whole neighborhood, so sometimes WiFi is off too. For hosts, I would recommend to by a portable battery or small generator for such cases. But those issues are really minor and I put 9/10 here.

Wonderful owners which make you feel like home. Not speak English, but Google translator solved the problem and in my opinion that give extra atmosphere. Great food and intimate place which I prefer more than big touristic object. Perfect choice.

We were very unlucky and it rained the whole time, so we had to stay in the room a lot. It would be good to have a heater or some rugs to make it more cosy when it is cold and wet.

The hosts Maria and Antonio are very nice and considerate. They made breakfast every morning and dinner can be ordered separately. The place is quite big, there is a table and fast internet so we were able to work there. Location is great, close to the hikes and with amazing view.

The Hosts are a wonderful, caring and helpful pair. The breakfasts are delicious, and you can eat enjoying wonderful views. I rarely do so, but the place is perfect and I highly recommend it :)

There is nothing bad to say with regards to property and location. As THETH city is totaly surrounded by nature beauty of mountains..you will b staying with local families only advise to the travellers try to evening before sunset as after sunset everything is dark n it will be difficult for you to find ur property locating only light you see is residence house or some local hotels. Dirve is off road so either you should have 4×4car to drive or you can park car below river bank n walk to your property or if u have booked a complete tour package then it is good... Disclaimer : This is not negative review just advice to enjoy the nature of THETH.

Rooms is good neat and clean well maintained and morning local breakfast served by owner Ms Maria she is sweet old lady and so energetic with always smile on her face. But the highlight view from the property is truely mesmerising and beautiful nature at it best with so much of fresh air ,greenery and we blessed to get a nice climate very cozy.. We wish we could of stayed more days here..THETH you beauty.❤️❤️

We were surprised how big the accommodation was, we've expected one room but actually had a whole flat with table and fridge. The couple who runs the place is super sweet and made us a simple but delicious breakfast. The location is perfect for hiking tours.

only the neighbouring dogs buffing through rhe night was a bit annoying. but when you come from a hiking day, you might be too tired to realise that 😁

everything. the family's welcoming and treating you like you were even one of them. i had a really pleasant stay there. the location with the view is awesome, it's at the startpoint for the blue-eye-track. and coming over the track from valbona it's just another 10/15 min walk through the town with lots of pictures spots. all in all it's a unique place. brekky & dinner are a lot and delicious. faleminderit per vemendjen 😄
