How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The only thing that bothered me was the music during lunch time. It was loud, you could hear it from the room.
It was very nice and clean. The breakfast was very delicious. It was warm and cozy.

Nothing, the hotel met all of our needs.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. The location was very central. The hotel had historical character, but updated amenities. Every request we made was quickly fulfilled. I would recommend this spot to any travels to Korce and/or the surrounding areas.

Only thing we can fault is that the TV had only two channels working.
The staff were super friendly and helpful......the breakfast was really good. The bed was huge and super comfortable. We had a great view from the bedroom onto the cathedral.

I've stayed at Cathedral Boutique Hotel in Korce multiple times, and each visit has been consistently fantastic. The hotel's central location, coupled with its comfortable rooms and welcoming staff, makes it my top choice in the city. Looking forward to my next stay!

Fantastic Stay at Cathedral Boutique Hotel in Korca I had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at Cathedral Boutique Hotel in the heart of Korca. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my entire stay. The location couldn't have been better; being situated in the center of Korca allowed me to explore the city's charming streets and historical landmarks with ease. The hotel's proximity to various restaurants and shops made it even more convenient. Furthermore, the breakfast served at the hotel was a delightful experience. The variety of fresh and delicious options was impressive, and it provided the perfect start to my day of exploration. Overall, my stay at Cathedral Boutique Hotel exceeded all expectations. I was expecting a disposable toothbrush, there was only soap and shampoo in the bathroom.

Is not the hotel fault, but if you dont like the sound of the bells of the Cathedral, do not stay nearby. It´s not just a bell, its like a symphony (in the morning and afternoon). the breakfast could be better.
The location of the hotel is very central. In front of the cathedral. The staff are very friendly. Parking in the main street are included in the price.

We really enjoyed the hotel. It looks across to the cathedral in the main square and is very central. The hotel is split over four floors (reception being one of the floors), with only 8-10 rooms in total. The staff were really helpful and managed to sort parking directly outside the front door. They also suggested a great place for lunch after we arrived which was around 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was great and plentiful in the cellar. We would throughly recommend the hotel to anyone that is considering staying.

The most beautiful setting. It has an irresistible charm about it. From the very start to the finish, the service was outstanding. The staff could not be more welcoming. Everything was exceptional...the amazing location, the view from our balcony, the breakfast, the spacious rooms, the staff...Just perfect!
