Amazing hosts, so friendly and they cooked vegan food for me and my partner specifically, even though the traditional diet is heavy on meat eggs and dairy. The location is perfect, 20 mins to walk into Theth centre. The room had an amazing view, and the property was clean. Perfect stay!

Guest House Marashi is a unique and wonderful place and what makes it so is the wonderful family that runs it. We stayed here 3 nights ,and then after moving around the area and sleeping somewhere else for a couple of nights, we returned (although it was not on our schedule) for a fourth and final night, just because we missed that wonderful hospitality and Violeta's delicious food. Violeta and Beni are a wonderful couple who make you feel at home from the moment you step inside the beautiful property, the feeling is not that of being guests in a guest house but of visiting uncles. And they have 3 wonderful children who, even though we didn't get to see all of them, we know from their parents' stories how much of a key part of this beautiful gursthouse they are. The rooms are impeccably maintained, both in decor, comfort, and cleanliness. The beds are simply super comfortable and the view leaves you breathless. Falling asleep with the sound of the river and waking up with the spectacular view of the mountains is something incredible, which can ONLY be enhanced by Violeta's wonderful breakfast. Finally I would like to highly recommend not to miss the opportunity to dine here, in fact, only for guest house guests, there is an opportunity to dine there and I recommend you not to miss it because Violeta's food will become an unforgettable part of your experience in Theth, and you will enjoy a home-cooked and traditional dinner, like from a loving Albanian aunt. The room seemed much smaller than what I had imagined in the photos. A bit pricey for a room, but I think most rooms with a hot tub bath in the area are probably the same.

Amazing location, great breakfast and lovely hosts. Although English was limited she was very good at communicating with us and told us good recommendations.

The most beautiful location I have ever visited! Peaceful. So many hikes and stunning views. Loads of delicious local delicacies for breakfast and a huge tasty dinner for a little extra. Violeta and Arben and the best hosts. The beds were comfortable and the place was spotlessly clean.

The only consideration for the room we had is some noise from the dining/communal area directly below. Fortunately it didn’t last late into the evening while we were there but was noticeable in the morning again. I would certainly consider staying here again, but I would opt for a different room.

A lovely view from the room, great staff/hosts, good food, and being able to soak in s bath at the end of the Valbona-Theth trail was brilliant.

The price is quite high for the rather small room (it looks more spacious on the pictures).

The host family is super nice and the location of the house is really beautiful. The bathroom was super spacious and the balcony was very nice! The design of the rooms and house is very stylish. The dinner you can have there is very delicious and home cooked :)

The room we had (River Front) was beautiful, but a tad small. Any more than 2 nights it was just too cramped.

We booked the Riverfront room for our two night stay in Theth. It is positioned more at the southern end of town (and closer to the waterfall and Blue Eye) than it is to the Theth-Valbone hike, but in saying that there are shuttles/taxis going between the two. We ate both our dinners at the on-site restaurant and cannot fault the many varied, and delicious, Albanian dishes we were given. This extended to our included breakfasts each morning. The wifi was super, and really, the only reason I'm not giving this place a 10 is because of the size of the room and bathroom, which were both pretty small.

A charming little family run guesthouse with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. The views were incredible, the rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a brilliant spread and set us up well for the hike to Valbonë. We also had dinner where we received a huge amount of food for just €15 each! Would thoroughly recommend for anyone staying in Theth

Nothing! We had a perfect stay.

First of all the hosts were absolutely amazing. We arrived earlier than expected and did not have breakfast yet, so they made us breakfast. The room itself was perfect and as described. Great bed, amazing view, delicious food. Would recommend to take the option to have dinner in the guesthouse. The mother of the family cooks traditional Albanian food which surprised us! One of the best meals we had during our holiday.

Wine was very expensive..... massive mark up even from the expensive new supermarket in Theth.

We treated ourselves to the room with balcony and mountain views. It was our most expensive accommodation by a long way but the luxurious treat was well earned after hiking with our packs over the pass from Valbone. The room really is as good as the photos show. The food was great and breakfast was amazing esp home cooked pancakes. A true family business and they couldn't do more for us. There is a washing machine (free). The staff did our washing as they don't want you hand washing in our room / drying on the balcony.

The room was the most expensive of all our accomodation in Albania and was quite basic in contrast to other places. No air conditioning and not great design. It was also sad that the front garden had been turned into a car park which meant that there was no comfortable outdoor space to relax in. The bedroom window looked out onto garden storage.
