There was not much not to like. If you like a preaceful location and great simple food and wine then this is for you.

This was our second visit. We stayed a couple of years ago. Location is on a hill just outside a village. Super view and setting. Quiet and enjoyable. Food was a set menu where you choose the type of meat. Wine was great.

Breakfast Albanian pancakes are great... good choice of marmelades and honey... the other part of the breakfast is the same as mezze they serve for dinner... and would say that they were made for dinner last night as well... There are no regular hotel toiletries in the room, just some travel sized ordinary cosmetics, which we thought were provided for us to take if we would like to... but not... we were warned that those cosmetics are to stay in the room for other guests although we opened them and used... and we need to give back what we took... feels awkward for sure... unpleasant definitely

Views are really great... room is decent size... decor is questionable, but OK... Dinner was kind of tasty.. Guess Albanian traditional food is somewhat strange for me, but it was fine... meat was tasty and is served with no side dish, just for you to know... try to keep potatoes served with mezze to eat with your meat

It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room as well as coffee/tea making equipment. (We did go up to order some beer from the restaurant and they were quick to send it down to us with chilled glasses and an opener, so they definitely took care of us, regardless.) The staff didn't speak much English but were adept at using Google Translate to take care of all our needs. They were very friendly, efficient and helpful.

This place is gorgeous and the food is outstanding! Our room was large and very comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the valley, which is just stunning! We had a late lunch when we arrived and were too full for dinner. It was soo good! The breakfast included with our stay was also delicious.

Seems like the walls are made of paper, we could hear everything the person in the next room spoke on the phone at 1am. The bathroom situation is weird - the shower is in the middle of the room separated from the toilet with a sensor light that works for both. So if you go to the toilet at night, the bathroom light will turn on but so will the shower one and light the whole room.

Spacious room, seems like a newly built hotel. Went for dinner, the food was good but pricey compared to other places - the starter is 10€ per person, main dishes between 8€-15 so you easily end up paying 50€ for 2 people or even more if you go for a bottle of wine.

The rooms are very big and cleany. You have a stuning view over the mountains, nature and the landscape. The breakfast was very tasty, fresh and local. We enjoy our stay there and we can recommend this accomodation.

We liked the quiet location and hillside views. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The food in the evening and breakfast were very good.

Nothing - everything was perfect!

The staff was super nice, especially Adriana (she turned our stay from a 10/10 to an 11/10!). The bedroom was comfortable with a terrace and a pretty view to the green landscape. Although the shower area had no separation from the bedroom, the bed and pillows was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing (10/10), and we had dinner there too for an additional price (but very cheap). which was also a delightful experience.

I have been there the second time and I loved it. Food is excellent, breakfast as well. I was happy to meet the head waitress Adriana again ,she is the "soul" of the restaurant. But even the other staff is very good. And the kitchen and the rooms !The whole concept of the place ! I shure will come back when I am arround.

It would be great to have a mini fridge in the room. The room looked more comfy on the pictures than in real life, but it was still quite good.

By far, the highlights are the great breakfast and the young lady (kind, helpful, funny) who welcomes us. The property is also very beautiful

This was our second stay at Hylli i drites and I can't wait for the third. Very polite staff, especially Adriana, extremely polite and always there to answer your questions or teach you Albanian :) Food is local, really delicious, breakfast is the best we have had. Overall atmosphere is very relaxed and the great view is an additional bonus. Faleminderit Hylli i drites!!!

Visitors must remember they are staying in a farming/agricultral area with the sounds and smells that can go with that.

This was a super stay with excellent service, delicious food, beautiful views and very clean and comfy facilities! All the staff was friendly but Adriana was exceptional in every way and made our 1st stay in Albania memorable! The food at the restaurant was local, fresh, and delicious! Just a wonderful agroturismo....I would absolutely stay again!

We loved everything. The room was clean, tidy and modern, we really loved it. And it's a bonus point that they have a restaurant just on top because every meal is delicious and at a really good price, we're sad that we didn't get to try everything. I'd also highlight the amazing service: the waiters and waitresses are all so lovely and welcoming, if we come back to Albania we will 100% come back to this place and we will recommend it to all our friends!

Nothing. Well, my daughter didn't like the spider which greeted her on arrival but she was soon popped outside (the spider, not my daughter!) so all good :-)

Stunning views from dawn til dusk. Amazing food - we only had breakfast here sadly but we were served a banquet! Staff were very attentive and mostly friendly - the man we assumed was the manager was just brilliant. Spacious, modern, airy rooms with great shower...and air conditioning...you would only know how luxurious this was if you'd spent the previous 2 weeks of heatwave without it! Superb place. Next time we would stay for evening meal too. Reminded us of Mrizi in its early days before it got too commercialised and sadly lost its charm. Highly recommended and we would return in a heartbeat.

The food was good although maybe not great (meat overcooked and dry) and there was way too much for us to eat. Which felt a little wasteful.

The service was great - our hostess was very welcoming and sweet. The room was large and bright with a lovely shower.
