I loved it, there was nothing I didn't like. If I came again I would stay there again.

It is great that the hotel preserves its historical texture. I loved the feeling of living in old times. The breakfast is filling and it's nice to have options. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to see the view of the city from the room.

Nothing- it was very clean, very friendly staff and great location.

- very accommodating of our late arrival time (near midnight), staff truly went above and beyond to make us something in the kitchen as we had landed earlier in the day and drove straight to Berat - breakfast and dinner was fantastic- so much food at breakfast including freshly cooked warm foods and fruit and delicious pastries. The homemade cherry jam was our favourite. A fantastic hotel breakfast (we always look for a good hotel breakfast when we travel and are quite picky!) which is included. Dinner was excellent food- comparable to the highly ranked restaurants in Berat, if not better. Also you’re eating with a gorgeous view! - location is really unbeatable- makes a difference to stay in Gorsica as your views are of the castle itself rather than looking out, and their courtyard has the most beautiful view without obstructing buildings etc - it is really picture perfect and so calming. Also it is <5 min into town, to the stretch of bars/ restaurants in town, to an ice cream shop/ creperie, and to the walk for the Berat castle - toilets are something I’m quite particular about and this was extremely modern and clean, with good water pressure! It was an unforgettable hotel stay- really felt like family looking after us. They are so thoughtful and kind- they provided us with water which is quite rare compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at.

Everything.. the location is in the center but quiet. The staffs are exceptional, genuinely friendly and hospitable: Thank you, Jack..for taking good care of us. Breakfast was another asset of our stay, it is the traditional Albanian breakfast: varied, tasty and fresh.

Fabulous old building, beautifully restored. Great location: in the middle of the photo. Free parking just along the road. Lovely courtyard. Good breakfast. Berat is a fabulous place to visit.

1. The place was super clean. 2. Style and architecture are authentic and the building was well restored, adapted to comfort and very beautiful to see. 2. The bedrooms were spacious and with a beautiful view. 3. The bed was very comfortable, best sleep I got in some time. 4. The breakfast was a big mega plus to the place, a lot of healthy options for adults and kids and we enjoyed very much everything that was served. 5. The staff was amazing, humble, friendly, polite and very helpful with everything.

The shower glass curtain hadn't been installed yet, resulting in slippery bathroom and dangerous aluminum rail on the floor. I saw that they were installing them while we were checking out.

The breakfast was amazing, the staff very polite and helpful, the spaces were new and the historic building restoration was done quite well.

A few small things would make it even better: a desk with a chair and better light around the wash basin and mirror.

Beautiful old house with thick stone walls. Great views of the castle rock from my room and from the terrace. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Good value for money.

Almost nothing. It was the best hotel from our entire trip in albania. Ideas : - Could add black curtains for the morning light (but maybe the room could be less beautiful)
