Nothing to dislike. Things to note you can’t park at the property but there is a car park with lots of spaces about 50 metres opposite and you’ll need to carry your luggage up stairs to the guesthouse- we had a big suitcase but wasn’t an issue for us

We loved our stay at Lorencs guesthouse. Lorenc himself is so warm and lovely to chat too and his guesthouse is actually is families home. I was saddened by some of the other reviews as when booking you need to remember he doesn’t advertise it as a 5 star hotel it’s more of a homestay. If you want an authentic stay I’d recommend. Our stay was great, really good value in an incredible part of town and the food he cooks is really lovely too.

Everything is fine.

A guesthouse located in a traditional Albanian house in the center of town. The owner was very friendly and I had a great time. The breakfast omelets and pancakes, coffee were very delicious. In addition, at the attached restaurant, you can enjoy wine and Rakia made by the owner at reasonable prices. If you like alcohol, please try it.

Bathroom is a bit odd in that the window overlooks a neighbouring restaurant right next door. It's not exactly a problem but you have to think about whether you really want the window open, at certain times.

Lorenc is a true gentleman, he and family were very accommodating. Very interesting house, good location.

There was no cooling in our room, so it was quite hot. Would be great if they provided a fan if air conditioning is not possible. The shared bathroom was a bit unclean (not from staff neglect, but misuse by other guests). Bring slides to wear in the shower! Cobblestone streets and lots of stairs to the guesthouse, so we recommend bringing a backpack, not suitcase.

Best location and great views! Just a 10 minute (€5) taxi ride from Berat bus station. Beautiful historic building. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Beautiful garden out the back with the most adorable kittens! Free walking tour leaves from the end of the street which was great.

Owner's entering the room without knocking was quite disturbing (I was alone in dorm). Breakfast is supposed to be included, but was not ready when told, so whoever planned any morning activities could not have it.

The building is historical, it is a monument itself, the terrace restaurant with stunning view, very relaxing, location is perfect, with public bus access from long distance bus stop, Lorenc and his wife are friendly and very welcoming, his breakfast is freshly made pancake with apples and turkish coffee, highlight of the day!

No heater in the room so can be very cold during winter time

This hostel is just beautiful, located in amazing part of the town and close to everything. The building, the garden and the views are extraordinary. The host could not be better, very flexible and kind, And the home made breakfast was great. TIP: Before going to the hostel, ask the host to give you the direction of the garden door, Road work in the main entrance side which is quite hard to pass and quite muddy.

The property has no heating facilities which is kind of unpleasant. The Breakfast was extremely poor. Just 2 slices of bread, a tiny cup of coffee, a egg fry and little bit of gam, that's it.

The location of the Property is extremely good right into the heart of the historic part of Gorica. 5 Minutes walking distance from the historic Mangalam area. The house itself is a old stone made historic house with nice decorations. The owner is a friendly person.
