Nothing!!!! The stay was perfect - 100% recommend- it was a perfect stay in Shkodër

From walking in the artistic doors to a parting raki shot I felt like I was with family. Everyone was so accommodating and accepting. The hostel is located close to the bus station and the staff were so helpful assisting me with making all the plans for my trip. They even helped me find a backpack that I needed for a hike and held my luggage for a camp! It was a great time and I learned so much about the local Albanian community! The trips to the castle with the suggestion of taking bikes and eating at the local cafe close by was so authentic. Make sure to ask for the Albanian menu the English one is misleading. The staff really know how to make you feel at home - it was so great I plan on coming back for an extra few nights at the end of my Balkan trip during the month of cherries!

The hosts were very kind and helpful. They recommended us many places to visit, adviced about shops and transport, told us about local culture and habits. Hostel is really awesome, we had daily Rakija shots, we met many interesting people. Rooms were clean, comfortable, showers were really good. Localization is perfect. It was great time, we made the best decision about staying there.

I stayed in a private room and it was everything I wanted; warm, spacious and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the local area. The hostel itself is great, full of art and open spaces to soak up the sun - and a great bar too! There are bikes to hire, laundry services and good wifi: a must visit in Schkodër.

The hostel was fabulous, the staff were so friendly and helpful. If you want to make friends, experience Shkoder, and have a great time this is the hostel to stay in. Not only safe for solo female travelers but extremely welcoming. The facilities were great and the beds are very comfortable.

Hands down the best hostel I stayed in in Albania! The staff was super welcoming and helpful. The place is definitely LGBTQ+-friendly and safe for solo female travelers. They even made me some banana pancakes in the morning (shout out to Kieran 💖). Everything was clean and it was quiet at night so I could get some nice sleep. My dorm had a private bathroom, what I appreciated a lot. I also LOVED the free Rakia shots as a welcome. The hostel has an amazing outside area to socialise and hang out during the day. It was possible there to rent some bicycles to discover the beautiful nature and surroundings of Shkoder. To sum it up: If you want to stay in a boring hostel go to "wanderes", if you are looking for a social party place where you can meet some interesting like-minded traveling people, definitely join the galley crew like I did! Can't wait to be back for the boat parties next year! ☺️🤗🥳

Super nice hostel. I stayed for just two nights in the off season before and after a tiring trip, but still had fun and made friends. It felt like home. The hostel really gives off party vibes and I think it's crazy fun during the tourist season.

only thing is that its not possible for many people to cook at the same time, as its an electric hob and electricity keeps going out. Was not much an issue for me, but I think when hostel is busy in main season might be a bit annoying. Otherwise good kitchen
