We booked a private bathroom but had to share it with two or three other rooms. Other than that it was very worth the price.

The host helped us a lot with any questions and fixed bus rides and other things to us. The rooms very nice, not very fancy but okay if you only stay for one night like we did. The garden was very nice and a cozy area to hang out and socialize with the host and other guests.

Super nice and cosy hostel hidden in a backyard a bit away from the busy part of town. The staff is suoer friendly and the double room was spacious and very clean. The room we stayed in was in a extra backyard just over the street. The bathroom was spacious and clean, too. If you want to stay in the very centre of Shkodra this hostel is a bit away. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the litte 10 minute walk in the evening though.

Pretty far from town, about 30 mins walking

Super attentive owners and a nice backyard with some space to put up tents ✨There’s a mini bar and a supermarket nearby, they also organize tours to Valbone or Teth. They also stored some things for me for a small fee while I left to do a multi day hike in Valbone.

This hostel was situated in a brilliant location, only a few minutes walk from the centre. Klaus and his family were really friendly and happy to help with any queries we had. The garden had a bar and was a lovely chilled environment to meet new people.

Our time at The Hood Hostel was amazing, definitely the best place to stay in the whole city! It is run by Klaus(i) and his family, everyone so lovely! Klaus is the most helpful and funniest guy you can find in Albania – we spend the whole evening talking and laughing in the beautiful garden. Family-like! Besides that everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable and if you need a quite space to recover you will find it in the big area. This place is a magnet for nice people, any other traveller we met was nice too. We will definitely come back! Thank you Klausimausi! :)

The place is a bit outside of the city centre. Around 20 min walk from the bus station. Bathrooms are rare. Especially when you book a tour early in the morning people queue up. So you have to get up early enough to not miss your tour

Klaus and his father are very kind. Klaus speaks English very well. Clean place. Tours can be booked easily.

Amazing hostel in shkodra! The owner Klaus is such a nice guy and also his parents work for the hostel day and night. Klaus organized the transfer to theth for me, I could leave my luagge there and his parents prepared an really good breakfast at 6.30am :) Also klaus took some time off and showed us the local nighlife which was really fun. Will go back there soon 10/10 stay!!

the bed, the garden I’ve traveled for a while, so it’s really nice to sleep at a bed instead of bunk bed lol and everything is really clean and comfortable. I work during the travel, and the internet here is good, there are some places for me to work, that’s also nice.

A cute family run business. Sweet garden with several different fruit trees. The double room was very nice decorated and the host is trying to help where he can. Also the place is very clean so we enjoyed our stay very much :)

Extremely nice and helpful staff! The guy who owns the place gave us the best experience we've ever had from hotels/ hostels. It was possible to rent bikes for a cheap price and he also gave us great tips for nice spots to go to. It was possible to leave our luggage there when we went for a Valbona-Theth hike. Overall, great place!

The host Klausi is a really welcoming and friendly guy. We just booked one night but we wanted to stay because it was so nice. Sadly he was booked out but he offered us a place to sleep in a tent in the backyard which was perfect. His parents are really friendly people who live there as well and keep the place really clean and nice. He can book the ride to Valbone or Teth for you as well.

The hostel has a very nice courtyard and overall good vibes. The owner Claus is super nice, helpful and speaks good English. The place is run by him and his parents. It's super clean, has large shared bathrooms and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Comfortabele bedd and pillows. The staff can arrange trips to Teth and other places too. Would 100% recommend and come back.
