We stayed for one night. The room is comfortable (for 4 persons) and clean, so as the toilet. The hotel is on the beach but it is also very close to highway, and some new construction site. However, they serve excellent breakfast.

I recently stayed at Hotel Tirona and had a fantastic experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly polite and accommodating throughout my stay. Quite noisy area (construction around), no place to hang towel in the bathroom, we asked for double bed and we got 2 beds separated

There was a quite noisy construction site in the nearby harbour during my stay in April. (But you cannot blame the hotel for that)

The hotel is located directly on the beach, about a 20-minute walk from the city center. There's also a nice restaurant downstairs

The property has a very good location, right on the beach. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is well equipped with complimentary products. Our room had a nice view to the beach. The balcony is a perfect place to enjoy the view of the seafront or just relax. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Small parking space and not very easy route to get to the location (but that's not dependent on hotel really). Kettle in the room would be nice in winter.

Spacious, very clean room, great sea view and location on the beach. Nice personnel. Good breakfast at the restaurant, guest gets own plate with two kinds of cheese, sausages, some fresh vegetable (tomato, cucumber, olives) and eggs (fried or omelette), then there's bread, butter and jam, bottle of juice, glass of water, or you can get coffee. Also croissant or fresh fruits. As we travelled in January it was a bit cold but AC has function to keep the room warm. There were additional duvets available too. In the walking distance there's a lot of shops and restaurants, bars.

There is not much on the beach so bring your own towels and chairs if the goal is sunbathing.

The staff was really nice to us. They were flexible with the check-out time so we could have a chill morning on the day of leaving. We also tried the restaurant that belongs to the hotel. The seafood was amazing and they had several surprises on the house (local dessert, appetizer).

The Sea and beach was not clean and was full of trash which Is not the hotel's problem.

The sea floor was dirty, we could see some soda cans, different packages.. The water also contained some unidentified black powder at the shore, maybe it has something to do with the harbour.

The staff was very nice and helpfull. The included breakfast was great, and also, everything we've eaten a la carte at the property's restaurant. Everything was wery clean, spotless.

Breakfast is very fulfilling, fresh, but you cannot change it. It’s standard for each day. You might be bored after couple of days or if you have specific diet.

We stayed only for a night at Hotel Tirona (it means Tirana in Gheg Albanian). Their staff (maybe owners) were waiting for us at midnight and they were more than hospitable. Nice breakfast is included in the price. Location is OK, beach is very near but Albanian Adriatic is not the best sea that I have seen in my life. However, you can jump from your terrace to the beach. You will better manage in Hotel Tirona and Durres whatsoever with Italian than English. All in all, we had a pleasuble time at Hotel Tirona.
