The hosts are a lovely couple and gave us one of the best experiences we have ever had on our travels. The breakfast they provided was super heavy and they even considered our vegetarian diet without issues. Their garden is also worth seeing with all kinds of fruit and vegetables!

Take your mosquito prevention as there area few about.

The breakfast, primarily from the garden, would have fed a small nation of souls and was terrific! Our hosts were utterly charming. The location is a little out of town but the walk is flat and pretty straightforward. The room was fine and clean. Given the wonderful town of Berat is a bit of a tourist mecca the price was incredibly low. Indeed you would pay that price for the breakfast alone.

There are no words to describe these wonderful people. Mr. Edmund and his wife are amazing hosts. I have visited many places, but nowhere have I been welcomed like here. The traditional breakfasts were delicious (the best we ate in Albania).

We had a lovely stay for 3 nights. Location/price perfect. But more the perfect was the hospitality of the owners, the selfmade breakfast mostly from own garden. Nice contact with some other guests during breakfast. Just relaxed and feeling heart to heart and Edmund and Heidi really have heart for there good guests !

We spent one night here to explore the city. The owners are very friendly and willing to help. Nice accommodation, close to the center. Everything is perfectly equipped and the breakfast that is included in the price is luxurious. I recommend.

There is no division from shower and toilet, so If you make the shower all the bathroom is wet.

The owner was extremely polite and nice and gave us a warm welcome with a coffee and home made rakia, absolutely a wonderful person! The room was enough spacious for 2 people, it had a large big bed and a single bed. There is also a small balcony. The breakfast was incredible, several local products prepared by the owner's wife from they own plants that grow in their garden. Tea, cakes, jams, pancake, sweets, eggs, sausages, vegetables, fruits, cheese....really the best breakfast ever!

Perfect place! Highly recommend. Very clean. Big rooms. Recommended for families with kids. Only 5-10 mins walk from old town. Parking place to leave car at safe. However what taken my hear most is the couple running the house. I haven't met such kind, warm and caring people anywhere else! I felt like sating by my relatives. Traditional, home made breakfasts (different every day!) prepared by Landlady from the plants grown in the own garden can compete only with my grandma's. ;) I wish, I'd stayed longer. We had a very nice stay at villa Berat. The owners were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. They have prepared a traditional Albanian breakfast with so many delicious options to choose from ranging from sweet, salty to fruits and dessert. Everything was homemade including various jams. Best fried Petula we found in Albania!

Great time we had here! The owners are very proud to have people staying with them, we had a lot of conversation with one and even tried his homemade Raki together. The breakfast next morning was one of the bests we had in our trip. Good apartments and near Berat's centre.

If you want to visit Berat and have a genuine warm and family experience you must stay at Vila Heart with Edmond and his wife. It is an unforgettable time, homely and with genuine Albanian people who love and care for their home and their guests. Talk a walk through the garden and see the fruit trees, you will eat the jams made from these with your breakfast. The chickens lay the eggs for your omelette! Enjoy Albanian hospitality at its best!
