No restaurant, but the other hotel next door has a good one. sea is only reachable through concrete stairs, so that there is no sand beach (but a small sand beach is in front of the hotel next door and we used it after taking a drink from the bar).

Very nice and quiet hotel by the sea reachable by an easy gravel road. Nice balcony with a good view on the sea. Personnel was nice and easy going. A good remote location if you want to be away from busy beaches.

More options at the breakfast bar and also on the menu for lunch. Staff really didn't communicate much with us so we were a bit left alone but still were nice to us if we needed something.

We liked the location, room size, the beach, the place infront of the hotel for chilling.

The cocktails at the beach weren't that good and they had so much sugar in them. The water at the hotel beach is shallow for at least 20 meters and it's not something that we prefer. Breakfast could be improved.

When we came there was some mess up with the booking, but it got resolved pretty quickly and we got an upgrade. Receptionist was a nice guy and everything was "no problem". AC was great and it covered hallway and both rooms. Balcony was pretty big.

Breakfast is too late if you need to leave early. Beach is stony. To reach other beaches you need a car / transportation.

the water of the sea was not clean, will never recommend this beach, there were a lot of spider webs in different places (in the room, in balcony, even in restaurant), the toilet was broken

It felt understaffed. We saw the receptionist waiting tables, serving food for breakfast and cleaning the hallway. Besides breakfast (it was included in our stay) which was fair to say the most, the restaurant didn't work for various reasons. We had to go to the neighboring hotel to eat. The cleaning staff was untrained and they kept coming late, mostly after 2 PM to clean the room, if at all in a few days. One time I heard knocking on the door while I was in the bathroom, obviously I could not answer, they entered and rushed into the bathroom, they literally saw me on the toilet, they closed the door and started cleaning the room anyway :) And no, they didn't have a "do not disturb" sign that I could hang on the outside.

We liked the somewhat secluded location, room, parking, most of the staff and the view. The beach is very close to the hotel, has plenty of umbrellas, deckchairs, etc. Most of the staff was nice and friendly.

There are no disadvantages

I rested for three weeks in July-August 2023 at the Villamaria hotel in Vlorа (Zvernec).The hotel is a real palace right on the seashore: everywhere there is marble, mirrors, expensive decoration materials, paintings, there is an elevator. The hotel is very clean: the room was cleaned daily with a complete change of bed linen. Breakfasts for every taste. Fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelons, melons, olives, boiled and fried eggs, omelets, salads with bell pepper, fried zucchini, milky rice porridge, dry breakfasts with milk were served every day. There were also sausage and cheese cuts, sausages, pastries, jam, coffee, two or three kinds of juices every day. I had lunch in the hotel restaurant (according to the menu). All dishes are very tasty, especially fish soup, shrimp and seafood risotto, fried sea bass. The sea is clean, only those tourists who live in the hotel rest on the beach. There are enough free sunbeds and reed umbrellas for everyone. Its owner, Hari Begu, pays great attention to the hotel: he often came, was interested in recreation, and several times initiated lunch presentations from the chef. I am very grateful to Hari Begu for the attention and gifts from the hotel!

Not the most charming hotel. The place needs some tender love and care. Or maybe it simply needs owners with a real interest in making this hotel a welcoming place?

The room was not cleaned properly - candy wrappers and hair from the previous guests were easy to spot. The bathroom has a window view to the bedroom which is only covered by Venetian blinds - you can't look into the bathroom when they're fully shut, but being in the shower you can still look out - very odd layout choice. Also, mould, a rusty bin in the bathroom, and no bin in the bedroom as far as I could tell. Staff: reception was not staffed, and the guy who eventually showed up does not know what a reception is supposed to do. Effectively no English, and a new (to me) version of the old credit card scam attempt: pay by card, whoops, no printing paper in the card terminal...."can you prove that you paid?". Luckily I was able to prove the transaction had taken place on my banking app. I highly doubt that the printing paper had just run out a couple of hours prior. Outrageous breakfast. Unorganised waiter, no explanation of how we get food, and then they delivered a tray full of...stuff. What is this stuff here? Petulla. Okay what's that? No explanation. We left after a sip of coffee.

Lovely beach, clear water, good location. Quite a way out of Vlorë but that's definitely not a downside. Bonus: if you've always wanted to know what it feels like to be a submarine commander and launch a torpedo, you should try the toilet flush button; audio and haptic feedback that lets you relive cineastic classics like Das Boot!
