It was hard to find the hotel because apparently the street that it was on is now a pedestrian street, but the mapping apps I was using did not know that, and there was a lot of traffic, so hard to find a place to pull over and bring in our luggage. But once we got settled and they gave us a card to use to get into and out of the public parking a few blocks away, everything worked well.

The location was very good, right on the promenade in the middle of the city, with a balcony overlooking the promenade and the city. The breakfast was good with many options and served on the terrace so you could see the view as you ate. The staff were helpful, especially bringing luggage up 3 floors.

There was noise during the day from the construction going on in the front part, but it was expected as they can only do renovation/ maintenance during the off-season, and only during the day when people are out sightseeing. A kettle and cup for tea in the room, on a cold night, would have been great.

Fabulous location right on the promenade in the centre of town. My room for 2 nights was on the top (4th)floor next to the dining room which has a gorgeous view of the river and the town on the hill sides. It is 2 minutes walk to the local bus stops from and to the main autobus Terminal for other cities. Taking accomodation on the lower main streets, rather than on the upper street up the hills for view, allows you to easily park your luggage before hiking up the hills for sightseeing. Even though I was the only guest during the quiet, rainy season, the staff still provided everything with utmost professionalism and helpfulness.

I Couldn't get the heating to work.

Friendly staff who try to help,it's low season and there are not many tourists in berat midweek,there was only 2 of us in the hotel. There is building work going on outside as the main square is being relaid but it doesn't effect the beauty of the place.clean modern rooms, great breakfast.

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like.

One of the best located hotels in Berat. Right on the Boulevard with a lovely park area opposite. Easy walking distance to the two historic areas of the town and to the castle. Close to numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms are very well presented and have everything you need for a comfortable stay including toiletries, hairdryer and fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet at night. There are large windows which open and air conditioning if needed. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am on the top floor roof terrace which has amazing views. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Breakfast is plentiful including sausage, eggs, cheese pie, cereal, pastries, cakes, bread, lots of fruit, yoghurt, juices and coffee. Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The hotel also has some parking spaces reserved for guests at a nearby underground car park.

A Hotel of this standard could have a lift. But, the owner was very quick to move our luggage up and down.

This was the first hotel after 3 weeks in Albania where the enthusiastic comments were really justified. The location is excellent. Frontside to a walking zone, than a park and than the river. To the side a quiet dead end. During our stay there were preparations for upgrade of the street. Everywhere beautifying is going on. When we left the police was blocking access to the street for that purpose. The hotel itself is really white. Outside from the painting, inside from the marble of the stairs and much lighting. The walls are decorated with paintings in the syle of Botticelli (a nude) or Degas (young girls) or Cezanne (the houses of Berat). The rooms are very clean with useful furniture. There were even two chairs inside and on the balcony, ample space for luggage and a spacious bathroom, where as everywhere vou could not find a place for your toiletteries. The shower in a corner is a prefabricated plastic installation, but, you don`t believe with glass walls to all sides. No splashes to the ground or on the toilette like elsewhere. The Breakfast was very good, even fresh fruit. Only in the Sar òtel in Tirana we had the same quality.
